tagged by Mary list 5 random facts about myself 1- Recently I discovered I love Lord of the Rings and I've watched the entire extended trilogy and the extra dvd's (2 for each movie) in a week.

2- I usually like to create some persona or fan character from fandoms but I'm always alone in this :T

Gente nojenta mesmo. É assim que vamos para a frente, não haja dúvida. Com preconceito a torto e a direito, estou mesmo fartinho da minha família às vezes com estas cenas estúpidas.

Bem, a Conchita ganhou, por isso eles podem enfiar isso pela goela deles abaixo quer queiram quer não.

Dweep that second part really got me because. Uh. Okay like 8-6 years ago I used to scour deviantArt (my stomping grounds at the time, don't judge) for Portuguese illustrators, because I always felt so alone doing this thing I liked and I wanted to feel there were other people in the country who did it. And I never found any whose work I really loved (oh they existed I'm sure, I just couldn't find them; I don't think there was a community, per se). I don't think at any point did I feel any pull by any artist from my own country, and my favourite ones were from everywhere else in the world. That's a bit sad because deep down I guess I was wondering whether it was even possible for me to make it, since apparently no one else had. Of course now that seems silly, but it didn't when I was 17 and a bit lost.It got a bit better when I went into Uni (not MUCH better... but a little bit), and NOW I definitely know of a great amount of amazing Portuguese illustrators. But I don't know - for some reason, these days, I find myself hoping to work for Portuguese publications and trying to promote myself in social media there (even though I know whatever I end up doing will be poorly paid because € < £ and also, recession). Not because I want to live there again or anything, but because I feel it was really hard to find "my" type of work in the country (whatever that means) and I want it to... not be so hard anymore, I guess. It was one of the big reasons I wanted to have a FB page as well (everyone and their mother has a facebook page there).(yeah I totally want to be one of those names that just pops out of people's mouths when they talk about illustration in Portugal SHUT UP A GUY CAN DREAM)Anyway WHOA way to make this about myself - in sum, you guys in big countries are pretty lucky in this regard + THAT WAS A VERY SWEET MESSAGE, OBRIGADINHA FILHA ÉS UM AMOR
