She had stolen from his days ago, yet he was still hot on her trail. Of course everyone watching the two would assume he was the one at fault, but truly it was the girl. It didn't take the thief long to get fed up with the man, an agitated demeanor turning into quite the vicious one.

With one strong push the girl, who only stood at four feet and nine inches, cleanly shoved the man into the nearest brick wall, oxygen clearly evacuating his lungs. "I told you to get lost, asshole! Are you deaf? It's not that hard to understand!" With that she spins on heel haughtily, catching the eye of a passerby. "What the hell are you looking at? I'll rip those pretty eyes of yours right out of your fucking skull." Woah, Lottie. Calm down. They didn't do anything to you.

A new life

Tessa pushed the door to her new apartment open and turned around to smile at Jem. "Welcome home", she said and let him enter, closing the door behind him and looking around. "This is your home now, if you want. Just do whatever you like", the warlock girl explained and led him into the living room. It was a small but very comfortable flat she had rented the month before when she had been sure she wanted to stay close to the inhabitants of the New York Institute. Now that Jem was himself again, she had offered him to live with her because he had nowhere else to go and she wanted to have him close. "We need to go and buy you modern clothes", Tess remarked and chuckled a little. "You look ancient."
