Maybeee jung bae having to take care of a drunk gi hun? Or vice versa :0
Btw I literally love ur jungbae appreciation so much we need more of it in this world
TYSM ANON I'M SO GLAD!!!! jungbae has just activated something in my brain chemistry ouuugh i love that fella......... i hope to inspire more jungbae appreciators to join me...........
HERE'S THE. them..... apologies this is a bit messy/bad..... ANYWAY i think that there was a brief period after gihun's wife divorced him where he was just absolutely MISERABLE and drowned his sorrows in alcohol a lot..... he went from being a fun drinking buddy to a serious welfare concern for jungbae LOL but regardless jungbae loves him and he's his best friend so that didn't rlly matter to him. mostly he was just worried abt gihun and hated seeing him so miserable. but he's kinda emotionally repressed himself so he didn't rlly know how to comfort gihun or help much, all he could rlly do was be there to listen to him :')
INJURY/INJURED PROMPTS
@bloodsalted
This is insane. Utterly insane.
The nurses on duty were either too exhausted to intervene or too incompetent to stop us, but we managed to get all the way into an empty surgical room in the hospital where I work at 3:30 in the morning and lock ourselves in, using only my ID and a spare lab coat I forced Dean to wear so no one would ask questions. And nobody did. Now my patient is on the operating table under the dim overhead light while I’m trying very hard not to think about how many rules I just broke.
The bullet had entered his shoulder, high enough to miss major arteries but low enough not to shatter his clavicle. Lucky, in terms of getting shot, although it seems that the bullet is 'cursed'. I still don’t understand what that means, but I can’t exactly stop and ask.
I've already applied local anesthesia around the entry wound, giving it time to take effect while I scrub up and put on gloves. We have twenty minutes before someone realizes this room isn't supposed to be occupied. Maybe less.
I hate this. I hate putting my fingers inside people. Even with gloves, even with all my training, there's something so visceral about it that makes my stomach churn, and just thinking about it is awful: the texture of torn flesh, the warmth of blood, the resistance of muscle tissue… raw and urgent and wrong.
But Dean needs this fragment removed, and I’m the only one he’s got.
I gently test the area around the wound with my fingertip, making sure he doesn’t flinch. Good. The anesthesia is working.
"Okay. I'm going in now."
I breathe in through my nose, out through my mouth. Don't think about it. Just do it.
My fingers slide into the wound, careful not to push too hard or tear anything that isn’t already torn. The blood, as expected, is warm against my gloves, and I can feel the edges of muscle, with the fragment lodged somewhere deeper. I try to keep my breathing steady, fighting off the nausea that threatens to creep up.
I realize then that I need a distraction. Something to focus on besides the sensation of my fingers inside Dean’s shoulder. So I pry.
"Soooo… what makes this bullet cursed, exactly? Is it going to do something to me if I touch it, or just you?"
🧑⚕️ — Lay the sender on an operating table under dim light. — Dig fingers into the sender’s wound to retrieve a cursed bullet fragment.
today I made an awesome discovery, I had the thought that maybe part of the reason I’m getting so ill while travelling to the hospital is that perhaps I’m hyperventilating to some degree by breathing so bad style from pretty much as soon as I wake up to when I get there (like. Six hours. It’s bad. I cannot express how unwell I have felt the last two times I’ve had to travel there) so maybe if I actually BREATHE then I can arrive at my destination in one piece NOT feeling so wretched style and you will never guess what!!!!!!! By singing while I was getting ready in order to kickstart actually breathing properly, and then literally near constantly focussing on actually breathing in properly for 2 hours and 45 minutes pretty constantly I CONQUERED IT!!!!!!! 😤🙌👍🫡💪 guy who can function voice: yay (: laughing and smiling today (: this just in im literally a human I need. Oxygen.
I'm lowkey obsessed with this. The weirdly smooth animation, the surreal environment and premise, the music transitions... dear god, the music transitions. It's actually incredible how eltorro64rus is able to stitch music from completely different video games and make it all sound like one continuous and consistent track. And that ending. The sheer MENACE emanating from Heavy at the end... gives me chills every time.
It's horrific and unsettling and so strangely compelling. It's high art. I watch this at least once a week. I may have a slight problem.

Billy feeling nauseous from just thinking about The Mindflayer’s sharp claws in his gut and the subsequent surgeries and the scars. He takes a deep breath, closing his eyes and tilting his head back willing the feeling away. Noticing this, Steve gently grabs Billy’s hand and massages the pressure point on the inside of his wrist. It grounds him and he feels better.
