Then, they became parents and had ao3 (archive of our own).
But then, Webtoon cheated on Wattpad with Duolingo (because Duo had a huge glow up) so Wattpad decided to take revenge on her lover and cheated with her exe Twitter/X. (they broke up because X was toxic obviously)
While the parents have a rather complicated relationship BUT still working out somehow, their kid found joy in dating Tumblr.
I'm telling you chat, grandma Naver is enjoying the drama!!!
Lock Me Up, Duke - By Kisai Entertainment (6.5/10)
Who wants to live the fantasy? It's innocent enough. A bored and lonely unemployed woman once daydreamed about being transported into her favorite game. The issue is her favorite game revolves around being pampered by an obsessive, affectionate man. When she gets her chance it's not quite what she expected.
Jayna and Theo are so close.
This didn't have to be a stereotypical story, but "it" happens. The dreaded Saintess plotline. That wasn't even in the original plot.
So close.
It starts off in a dreary castle.
Jayna (our excited and happy transmigrated protagonist) wakes up engaged to an Archduke.
She's shocked when the ugly truth comes up quick. The warmongering, awkward, handsome, dense and insanely strong Theo....lives in squalor? He's an unwanted son of the royal family, and he was only able to survive due to his magical strength. Basically, he's a Duke in name only. A laughingstock. He's considered more mercenary than noble.
Which means no macarons or obsessive butler service.
Jayna is crushed.
She decides to make him a real Duke so she can have her selfish fantasy.
She accidentally makes Theo very happy in the process.
So, what's up with Theo? Why is he so possessive, clingy, and weird? Being an illegitimate son sucks and all, but Theo is super mega powerful. A normal guy with that kinda power would be rich by basically default. Theo's dusty, improvised castle makes no sense. All the brooding feels unearned at first.
The truth is pretty awful.
Theo is a victim of insanely intense bullying and plenty of assassination attempts. Despite all of his power he's still seen as a nuisance.
Also, he had one friend. A maid that was like an older sister to him.
The "perfect" Crown Prince stole her away to taunt Theo. Oh and he murdered her and left her corpse in an alley for Theo to find.
Which explains why he has no friends, and why he's so clingy with the bride he suddenly gets.
Jayna was supposed to be a wimpy, wimpering loser. The perfect victim. Current Jayna is boringly, ridiculously overpowered. She wins over knights, mages, monsters, and the Villainous Crown Prince himself becomes obsessed with her.
Theo will destroy thr country if his brother succeeds in stealing his bride.
The Crown Prince is a red herring yandere. He's not the real deal. He's obsessed with her because Theo wants her, and because of her power.
He wisks her away in disguise, but she doesn't fall for it. She even punches him. There is no second male lead. Jayna and Theo are both loyal and true. There are no ex lovers or former fiances to deal with. Yay.
Jayna is a Saintess that can tame monsters like dragons and spirits. This was a massive disappointment. There was no Saintess in the original yandere game, and I was hoping for something different.
Prince guy is easy to hate.
Theo becomes a submissive yandere instead of an unpredictable one.
It goes from grim to "funny and lighthearted" way too fast.
The best part about this one is Jayna. She wants this. She wants the obsessive romance and she wants Theo. No regrets no Stockholm. It's a shame the plot devolves into "Jayna is special and everybody fights over her". Also, be warned there's toxic stuff that isn't yandere in here. Like extreme dieting, which is just as boring and yucky as it sounds.
