Rea Francesca Belline • 24/07/2004 • ESFJ • Lamborghini's driver • Number #53 • Italian/British • Fc: Ella Purnell
Sweet and charming Rea was at least partly raised in a paddock, just not in the F1 one. As the daughter of the three-time world champion Marco Belline, MotoGP tracks became her second home. The first present after she was born? A motocross bike gifted by Rossi himself. Her mother’s side was not much more reserved or calmer either. Although Grace Cain, a retired gymnast and model, tried to keep their kids out of the spotlight, the press didn’t make it easy.
That is how Rea learned to play the part, a different theater production for each person. Playful and warm for the cameras, daring on the bike for his dad, focused on the uneven bars and in the runway for her mother… Three lives she had to juggle with until she was a teen, but all of them had a common factor: planification. Rea had always been good at reading people, knowing what they wanted from her, and anticipating their next moments. In a way they were like equations, and she had always had a sharp brain for math and physics. And when she found something that could combine all that, her mind was set. Rea’s next goal would be F1.
She switched bikes for karting, and a few years and a couple of contacts under her sleeve later, she secured herself a seat at F1 Academy with Campos, then Prema, ending up second in 2023. Two years later she became the fastest driver ever to go from F4 to F2 in a span of twenty-six months. Of course, there was a lot of talk about her family being a huge part of it. The press argued she was just another big surname with no talent at all. And Rea once again learned by heart the script she was meant to play. Be kind while biting your tongue, smile to the flashes, play dumb if needed… Because when you play dumb, they underestimate you. And when they underestimate you, they will never expect you to overtake them.
She doesn’t hold any resentment towards those who misjudge her at first sight; it's part of her strategy after all. Staff ends up valuing her opinion when she flashes her engineering knowledge, and principals discover she is not a paid driver after seeing the results. And as for other athletes… Funnily enough, the last two people who called her shallow to her face ended up becoming her best friend and boyfriend respectively. Vivi was the one in charge of showing her around Campos when Rea joined the Spanish team. Despite Durán’s initial mistrust, they developed a close bond over the year they were flatmates in Madrid. Something similar happened with her boyfriend, Jacob Wytte, a MotoGP rider, who couldn’t stand her at first because she called him out for his team’s poor strategy choices.
It goes without saying that Rea still finds a way of warming up in everyone’s hearts. So, when Lamborghini's team found themselves with a free seat just before Australia race day, she had her mind set. The F1 world would learn to accept and love her too, one way or another.

Jacob Javier Wytte • 3/9/2002 • INTJ • Aprilia's rider • Number #12 (let's pretend Viñales stayed with the #25)• American/Argentinian/Puertorican • Fc: Mike Faist
To put it simply, Jacob Wytte is an actual public relationship nightmare, but one with talent at least. Aggressive in and out of the track, he has a non-bullshit approach to press and gives his opinion even when he is not asked. Three different agents in the five years since he started escalating from Moto E and an impressive recovery rate after every one of his accidents. The 2026 season is his third year in the main competition and his second racing for Aprilia after they signed him to replace Viñales.
Born in New York to a Puerto Rican mother and an American father of Argentinian origins, he chose the number 12 so he would always have the Washington Heights’ community district and his origins in his mind. Jacob races under the USA flag for similar reasons, ironically representing the only one of his nationalities that has ever really made him feel at home. His personal payback to everyone who thought he wouldn’t achieve anything in life? A mind set on becoming the next American MotoGP champion after nearly twenty years. So far? For the moment he is third in the championship, just after the Marquéz brothers.
With impressive results to back him up, Jacob doesn’t make a habit of listening to most people. The only exceptions to it being his sister, Julie, and his girlfriend, Rea. Up to this point the two of them are the only ones who can keep up with his short temper and whose opinions he values. Julieta Wytte, Julie for family and friends, has been his constant support and pain in the ass practically since she was born. But Jacob would never have guessed that working out and running together as teens would end up with her being his personal trainer and pushing him harder than anyone else ever did.
Then there’s Rea, an occasional presence in the MotoGP paddock for as long as he had been in the sport. To say she found her infuriating at first is an understatement. How could she dare to give him advice on how to drive his own bike? Well, turns out she was right (no, he will never admit it). A few arguments about suspension, nights sneaking into each other's hotel rooms, and a pink press slander later; he claims that she is the best thing that has ever happened to him. So yeah, Jacob may be too loud and reckless, but at least he surrounds himself with the right people to bring the best out of him.

for rea and pascal, I'd like to ask questions 6, 28 and 49 🫶🦅 love ur stuff btw you're amazing don't stop writing!!
Hi Andrea! You are so sweet for this and absolutely same goes for your and your art!
6. What kind of books comfort them? What books help them heal after a bad day?
Rea - literally anything with a hint of romance in it. They may be a bit sappy, Vivi teases her for it, but she can't help loving them. After a bad day she either look for comfort in them or in poetry, specially in Pasolini's (her father's favourite) or Burroughs' (her boyfriends' fave) poems. But the book she has read the most is The seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo, which Durán gifted her for her birthday.
Pascal - mystery novel's always make him feel at ease, there's something comforting about figuring out what will happen next (because he can't have that in his life lol). Christie, Heron, Doyle... you name it. His latest buy is what helps him heal.
28. If your character was in today's world, what social media platforms would they avoid? Or be prominent on?
Rea - avoids twitter at all costs because she doesn't want to get involved in any controversies. But she is quite popular on instagram and a master of aesthetic posts 😌
Pascal - claims he hates all social media without any exception and therefore doesn't use it (secretly has a twitter account where he keeps track of fan descourse and F1 rumours)
49. How does your character sleep at night? Are they a heavy or light sleeper? Do they dream or have nightmares? Do they find it easy to sleep or are they more a night owl?
Rea - light sleeper, but she is able to go back to sleep quite fast after it. Sleep comes easier to her and if she has any good or bad dreams she never seems to remember them.
Pascal - doesn't fall sleep until late hours because he claims is "extra productive time", however he is a heavy sleeper and not a morning person. A night owl, but that goes without saying.
💌Day 2: Letters /♡/ Love Languages /♡/ Long Distance
This is part of my wonderful moot Star's Saint Valentine event (go give their blog a check, it's definitely worthy!) and the prompt chosen is "Love Languages". I don't know I decided to make something kinda short and sweet about how my ocs use and interact with them. This goes for both platonic and romantic relationships, because I actively refuse heteronormativity telling me that Valentine's is only for couples😘 For the rest of the event the posting is gonna be kinda off because, I cannot plan ahead, so yeah don't get surprised if I finish this by June. Hope you like it <3
ღ Vivi Durán
Favourite love language to give:
Acts of service, definitely acts of service. It just comes natural for her the minute she appreciates someone the slightest. In the paddock, Vivi writes the feedback down by herself the minute she is out of the car to hand it to the engineers as soon as she can. Rubo, Franco, the Campos squad or anyone else is staying for dinner? She cooks following everyone dietarian restrictions. Once she is back at home? All chores are taken care of so Sierra doesn’t have too. Vivi has to feel useful and acts of service are the perfect way to do it.
Favourite love language to receive:
Probably quality time. It means very much to her, as neither she nor the people around her have lots to spare. Vivi is not super into the whole planning activities and asking people if they are up to it, but, believe me, she gets so secretly happy when she is included in them and makes her feel like she belongs (that's partly why she got warmer with Rea, Isack and Franco). And yeah, Vivi may not be the most sociable person around, but when she gets along with someone, the introversion walls start to crumble.
Extra:
She has a love-hate relationship with physical touch and everyone else still hasn't got used to it. She swears she likes hugs, but doesn’t get why everybody just give them so freely I guess. In Vivi's case showing physical affection is reserved for really really closed ones. Saying that she was slighthly annoyed when Rea's first reaction to meeting her was wrapping her arms around her would be an understandment, althouh later she came to appreciate it. Only a few people are exceptions to the rule: a bunch of friends, Rubo, her family... Odly enough it never applies either to fans who are little kids, if they try to hug her while she is taking a pic or signing she won't deny them. What can I say? They are her soft spot.
ღ Rea Beline
Favourite love language to give:
To no one's surprise, physical touch. Hands on shoulders, hugs, cheek kisses… that’s Rea’s whole deal the minute she gets introduced to someone, and it only increases with time. You could blame her genetics for it since she comes from a really affectionate family (celebration hugs between her father, Marco, and Rossi are part of MotoGP's history up to this point). Media seems to like this side of her, and Rea may or may not use it to seem less menacing on track. You wouldn't expect the most cuddly person on the grid to push the limits on the corners, would you?
Favourite love language to receive:
Words of affirmation. It doesn't even have to be super complicated; a simple "good job" makes her day, to be honest. Rea grew up trying to match everyone's expections of her, praise was the proof she was doing it right. During racing weekends she is confident and charming on the outside, but inside she has been replaying every piece of positive feedback she has been given to calm down before the race. The girl needs assurance in every single aspect of her life, if not she freaks out in private.
Extra:
This one only shows up when she is really close to someone, but she is also big on acts of service. It's mostly work-related: practicing PR stuff with Vivi and Jacob, helping her father do what's best for the Beline brand, giving engineers developing ideas for Jacob's or her own team's...
ღ Pascal Couderc
Favourite love language to give:
Quality time, but it’s quite different from the kind I mentioned in Vivi’s part. Pascal doesn’t think about any particular activities or need to have it planned out. His preferred type of quality time is more in the “I have things to do, you have things to do, so we could share space while we do. Don’t be loud because I need to be focused, but I do want you to stay around”. Late nights working on strategies that turn out in good conversations and maybe a glass or two of scotch after the work is done. That’s how he shows appreciation.
Favourite love language to receive:
Absolutely adores when people do small acts of service for him (lighting his cigarettes, passing him something across the table, bringing him coffee…). Big ones overwhelm him since he feels like he has to pay them back, but simple ones may even earn a small smile from him (an extremely rare occurrence). Pascal is busy and moody, at times, and whenever someone makes his life the slightest bit easier, he is thankful for it.
Extra:
He claims to find buying and receiving presents pointless, yet gift-giving was the way he grew fond of Daniel. Ricciardo found that the chocolate bars’ wrappings lying around the Red Bull facility belonged to his race engineer and followed the most sensible tactic for when you want to befriend an introvert: lure them in with food. Countless black coffees, Snickers, and bottles of wine later, Pascal calls him his best friend. Therefore, it did work.
ღ Jacob Wytte
Favorite love language to give:
He uses quite a mixture, but the most common one is words of affirmation. He is a man of few words, that’s very much an understatement, and he doesn’t praise people lightly either, so it makes all more valuable to him. Whether is compliments to his team after a good race or encouragement to his family and friends, that’s Jacob’s thing.
Favorite love language to receive:
Jacob is not one for big public shows of affection, however he melts for discreet ones and those in private. July always messed up with his hair after he got a podium, and he pretended to hate but asks her for it after every single one not to jinx it. With Rea he tries to keep everything lowkey, however some days, just out of pure jealousy, he wishes every person in the world saw the kisses they share. And whenever he imagines himself finally winning the championship he sees all his family around hugging him in a tangle of arms and pride.
Extra:
Gifts are tough for him, okay? First, he doesn’t know how to properly react when he gets given one. He just smiles, says a short thank you and keeps going with his day. But buying gifts for others? That’s hell for him. Jacob lacks the imagination for it, so his strategy is getting things they may need or just give them money. Probably not the best Secret Santa, but at least he is practical
ღ Daiane Teixeira
Favourite love language to give:
Gift giving. For Daiane is much more about the person, it’s reactions and the process of choosing the gift itself, than about prices or quantities. She very much prefers giving hand-made or meaningful pieces, something that may make someone feel like she knows them well enough. Her go-to’s are personal jelwerry, crystals that for some reason she associates with person, books or seeds that may turn out in a beautiful garden.
Favourite love language to receive:
Words of affirmation, but she needs to be a bit more complex that in Rea’s case. Do you think she was good on the track today? She is gonna ask for the exact reasons. Do you like her and think she is a good person to be around? She is resisting the urge to ask for 1000 words minimum of a paper augmenting why. It’s not about the words themselves, but them being meaningful enough. Also, she yearns for pet names. No matter how silly they are, they bring her a sense of belonging.
Extra:
Once Daiane is close enough to someone she unlocks a special brand of physical touch that consists in playfully fighting. From tickle fights, to sarcastic banter, going through absurd arm-wrestling matches, you got it covered. Loving and caring for someone just ignites the competitiveness in her, don’t ask why.
Viviana Montes Durán • 6/12/2006 • INFJ • Williams' reserve driver • Number #28 • Spanish • Fc: Inde Navarrete
What happens when a mechanic who has been begging for a grandson to pass his knowledge to gets a granddaughter instead? You end up with a shy but obstinate woman on Alpine’s seat during the 2025 season.
Being an ex-rally driver, Martín Durán has always kept motorsport close to his heart. Therefore, he was hoping that his first grandchild would be a boy that inherited his passion. Vivi was born instead, and his small disappointment disappeared as soon as the kid started following him around the garage. When she was five, he gifted her first kart, made entirely by himself, behind her parents' back. Only a few weeks later she had been signed for her first competition. Martín was able to keep Vivi’s racing as a secret for three years. And when they discovered it after a particularly bad crash and several bruises? Well, grandfather and granddaughter were too stubborn to be stopped.
Although Martín would have been much more pleased had she followed his path at rally, the call of Formula 1 was too strong. From there upwards and onwards. Coming from a working-class background, she lacked the money and the connections necessary to become professional, but not the talent. So, she started taking all sponsorships she could, although she hated the attention. Anyways, it paid off, and Vivi was able to go through Spanish F4 and F3 with amazing results. F1 Academy tried to contact her, but her grandpa advised her against it, wanting her to follow the conventional route (she secretly regretted listening to him for years). She joined Alpine Academy and Campos Racing in the 2023 season. Coming third in the F2 championship in 2024, Alpine made a risky move signing her as their second reserve driver for 2025. At the same time she participated in IndyCar, racing for Chip Ganassi, coming 7th in the championship and consequently winning the Rookie of the year award.
By the time the IndyCar season ended, she had little hope of getting into the actual F1 car. However, Doohan had got demoted, Colapinto had became second seat, and Vivi the next reserve. A series of coincidences ended up with her replacing both of her teammates on different occasions. Vivi was Pierre’s replacement from Monza to Baku due to a neck injury and Franco’s in México because media pressure was taking a toll on him and he was not bringing the results the team expected. Pierre’s disagreements with Briatore keep the French pilot out for what was remaining of the season, so the Colapinto-Durán duo reunited.
In the six races she and Franco raced against each other, she outperformed him twice. At Brazil GP, through an 8th position in the sprint, Vivi became the second woman ever to score points in the F1 championship as well as achieving the fastest lap of the weekend. However, that was not enough for Alpine, Franco and Vivi were tied at points, but he had finished better in most races, so they did the reasonable thing, they signed him.
Durán was already saying goodbye to the F1 dream and ready to go back to IndyCar for another season with Chip Ganassi which she was already happy about. Still when her manager, Rubo, went to her home in the middle of the winter break and said that Vowles had called, Vivi was more than happy to pair her Indy’s career up with another chance as a reserve.

Engineering was in Pascal’s DNA; his parents were a renowned car engineer and a mathematician. His first toys were probably gears and screws, so it wasn’t a surprise when he built a motorbike from scratch when he was a teen. Despite his family not having direct connections with the motorsport world, a ticket to the German GP when he was 16 changed his life’s trajectory. He had to belong to that place.
He graduated from college at 19 and spent the following years working in F3 and F2, with his surname helping him to get an internship or two. He became a race data analyst for Red Bull in 2010, and in 2011 one of the team's race engineers quit due to differences with Horner. A quick replacement was needed, and, in a risky move, Mark Webber insisted on choosing Pascal for it. He was witty, amazing at calculating risks, and charming when he actually put in an effort; a perfect fit for him. That's how Pascal became the youngest race engineer in F1 history.
After Webber's retirement, Pascal became Ricciardo's engineer, and although complete opposites, they developed a strong bond. Pascal was a man of few words; Daniel never stopped talking. Pascal was precision, and Daniel was aggressiveness. They were friends and the best collaborators. After Ricciardo left, Couderc could only stay two more years at Red Bull with Albon before signing with McLaren. The next two seasons weren't as prolific as their first years of working together, but Pascal hoped for improvement. He refused to admit the reality until Dani was replaced, and he was assigned race engineer for Oscar Piastri. Webber was euphoric; two of his protégés were now working together, and the pair looked promising. Then the Dutch Grand Prix quali happened; Pascal blamed himself for not doing enough to avoid his best friend's crash.
He seriously considered retirement then, but he was nothing but a proud man. Pascal wanted to believe he had all that was needed to take a pilot and make him WDC. Luck just had been against him. The rest of the season was good enough; Oscar ended up ninth, and in the long run, he could be a safe bet for a championship. However, Pascal, even admitting it was illogical, partly resented him for the crash. So, when Williams offered him the opportunity to work with Albon once again, he didn't think twice. The boy was smooth on the track and calmer than most with engineers, so he decided to stick with him until new promises arrived.
Albon was collected and obedient on the track, and Vivi Durán came like a hurricane. She was never meant to race, just an overqualified reserve. Quiet at times, unnecessarily sarcastic and mouthy at others. Durán follows her intuition to the detriment of his orders. Yet she thrives, and Pascal can't deny his potential. Those are the only reasons why he tolerates her for the moment.

A Spanish working-class family with too many cousins, aunts, and uncles to count. Here is a quick look to some of its most important members, the ones who will appear more regularly in my stories!
• Martín Durán
Martín Durán Santos • sometime in 1965 • ESTP • Grandpa and Vivi's mentor • Spanish • Fc: Javier Bardem
Martín has always been fascinated by everything that had to do with motors. By the time he was a teen he had been repairing neighbours’ cars and building motorbikes nearly from junk for years. At 15, he was taken as an apprentice in the local garage, where his boss was a rally fan who recommended Martín as a copilot for one of his clients. The next thirty years he competed regionally and nationally but he never was able to live off it, keeping mechanic as his main job. He tried to pass down his passion for motor racing to his daughters with little success. It wasn’t until his first grandchild, Vivi, had been born when he had someone to follow his footsteps and have the Durán surname printed on their helmet.
• Vivi Durán
Viviana Montes Durán • 6/12/2006 • INFJ • older sibling and f1 driver • Spanish • Fc: Inde Navarrete
As the eldest, Vivi always had the “I need to be a role model” mindset, and, more or less, she has achieved it. Yeah, she did start karting without her parents’ permission and she may have taken up smoking the moment she became an F1 driver, but the intention is still there. Vivi is the uncertified family therapist and the one who always got in trouble for defending Román and spoiling Yago. Since she had to move out to follow her racing career, video calls and old photos help her to feel closer to the family. Nowadays, she dreams of making enough to cover for everything they will ever need.
• Román Montes
Román Montes Durán • 13/2/2008 • ISTP • second Durán sibling and High School dropout • Spanish • Fc: Joshua Bassett
“Promising” and “complicated”, those were the terms in which Román was described growing up. As a kid he exceeded academically, which translated to receiving lots of pressure to be the family’s joy. Román burned out during his early teens and switched book smarts for street ones. At 16, he dropped High School and now works as errand boy in the same garage as Martín. Constant comparison has taken a toll on his dynamics with his siblings, especially with Sierra. Oddly enough, he always got along with Vivi because both understood the pressure of expectations. Román’s talent for drawing came useful when she needed her first F1 helmet design, he hopes to keep taking care of them from now on.
• Sierra Montes
Sierra Montes Durán • 31/5/2009 • ESFJ • third Durán sibling and student • Spanish • Fc: Dafne Keen
I will say it over and over again, Sierra is the glue that holds the family together. Patient and natural-born peacemaker and problem-solver; she is always there for all of them. She took care of chores when Vivi wasn’t around and became her first PR and style advisor (since her older sister couldn’t do it to save her life). Sierra has nourished Román through way too many hangovers and practically raised Yago because of their parents’ working schedules. This caretaker role may have extended to her studies, she works hard to become a doctor one day.
Being honest, as the baby of the family, he got along with things than none of his siblings would. Yago is a troublemaker, a bit of a smart mouth and loves anything to do with mind games and mechanics. Sierra’s and his parents’ overprotectiveness have stopped him from starting professional karting earlier. However, as soon as he turned ten, Vivi decided to dedicate part of her salary to fund him in national competitions, in hopes of seeing him in the European Junior Championship one day. Martín and Viviana finally persuaded the family and in the 2026 season Yago starts racing around Spain.
• Mamá and Papá
Isabel Durán Menéndez and Héctor Montes Acebal • sometime in the mid 80's • INFP - ENTJ • the sibings' parents /office worker and waiter respectively • Spanish • Fc: tba
That kind of small-town romance; they grew around the same friend groups, started dating in their teens and embodied the whole “opposites attract thing”. Vivi was born in their early twenties, Román and Sierra followed close after, and Yago ten years later after they have been parents for the first time. Hard-working, overprotective, family-oriented and with high expectations, that’s how their children would describe them. Nevertheless, they try their best to manage the chaos of raising four siblings completely different from one to other, although schedules are tight.
