Nerdcon
Nerdcon was just such a good thing. My life was changed by my experiences last year, and this year was even better, if that's possible. It sucks that it's ending, but I'm so glad that I got to be a part of something so beautiful while it lasted. Thank you so, so much to everyone who made this beautiful thing possible, and everyone who helped make my personal experience so amazing (even though most of you will never read this.) Thank you to @edwardspoonhands and @fishingboatproceeds for being the awesome people you are and for bringing so many amazing people together under the Nerdfighteria banner. Thank you to Nella and David, the amazing and hilarious ASL interpreters and Nerdcon celebrities. Thank you to Jake the Sound Guy, for graciously if reluctantly accepting your Nerdcon meme/celebrity status. Thank you to @just-a-skinny-boy for being amazing and doing amazing things, and for hanging out with me and letting me hang around at your booth all weekend. Thank you to Midwestern Moms (and also my mom) and the Guacanati, and Soup. Thank you to everyone who went to Nerdcon, because you all are important and you all contributed to the amazing experience that I am not alone in having. Thank you, Nerdcon. Don't Forget to Be Awesome. -Red
