So yesterday was my love's birthday, but i surprised him 3 days ahead of time during his class. Got all the students to help me and waited for him to get inside the room with party poppers, pizzas, other stuff and of course his cake. And also bought for him an Ipod as his new toy. Yesterday i planned for a simple celebration: go to church service to say grace, booked a dessert buffet for two, and booked movie tickets to watch Venom. But sadly, he was too tired from teaching and watching his trades that he fell asleep the whole day until 7pm. So instead, i just bought cakes, pizza, party stuff and other food to celebrate his birthday and set it up on his working table, for i don't want him to just celebrate his birthday just by sleeping. I also gave him the card which some of his friends and students wished him for his special day. Gladly, we were at least able to make it for the movie. The movie was great BTW. When he saw my surprises, i didn't see any sight of smile on his face. I was quite disappointed---disappointed with him and with myself. Disappointed with him coz he doesn't seem to appreciate it and disappointed with myself as i know i could've done better. But after the day has gone and another day had started, beautiful words woke me up saying "thank you so much for everything. I might look like that i didn't like it but deep inside i appreciated every bit of it..."
