Honestly. I loved how they focused more on histories badass woman. And none of it felt like it was grossly mishandled.

I also liked how they didn’t sugarcoat history. It’s a dank and dismal place. So. Kudos

Okay I finished my Timeless rewatch and here are some Thoughts no one asked for:

Best Season 1 Episode (Objectively): 1x11 The World’s Columbian Exposition

Best Season 2 Episode (Objectively): 2x08 The Day Reagan Was Shot

Favorite ships: Lyatt (duh) and Rufus/Jiya (liked them even more this time around)

Grossest ship: Nicholas/Emma...just no

Dynamics I would’ve liked to see more of (possibly romantically): Flynn/Emma, Emma/Jessica, also would’ve like some more Denise/Michelle!

Pairing that makes me think their shippers were watching a totally different show because the throughline and main love story was really clear: G*rcy lol

Best Brotp: Lucy/Rufus

Best Surrogate Parent: sorry Connor/Rufus but I really loved Denise as surrogate mom to Lucy more

Dropped plot point they should’ve brought up again: Lucy’s car accident (also Lucy’s half brother only got like two mentions and we never met Rufus’ family!!)

Evilest person: As cartoonishly evil as Nicholas was, I think I’m gonna go with that bitch Carol Preston

Favorite historical character: three way tie between Harry Houdini, Harriet Tubman, and teen JFK

Jiya: is the telling dirty jokes drunk, also handsy, mostly on Lucy, makes everyone blush because really Jiya!? Wyatt: is the one you move the alcohol away from drunk bc he gets too melancholy/moody Flynn: starts talking passionately (angrily? either way you move away, unless you’re Lucy, Jiya, or Jessica drunk, Emma might start a fight) in another or several languages, no one knows, sometimes it’s english drunk Denise: is the quiet introspective drunk, might solve world hunger? will order pizza for everyone without anyone noticing until like 10 pizzas show up. good start Denise Connor: is the quoting Shakespeare and getting himself depressed drunk (canon) Emma: starts fights drunk Carol: plots different ways the world could go under drunk, could probably cause the zombie apocalypse when drunk Nicholas: is the sleezy sit in a corner looking at women drunk, ew Jessica: is the squeal-y social-bee who makes friends with someone random at the party and then get into a fist fight with someone she thinks slighted her new friend, then gets right back into the party to become besties with everyone
