The Etsy Adventure
More like the adventure to the store around here we go for prints. But I digress. I got prices for how much to scan my art a piece or in groups and also how much printing+gloss would be. It really didn't sound bad for the 11"x14" but the one for the 18"x24" jumped way. I guess this explains why on Etsy I tend to find more of the smaller size prints.
I have five 11"x14" artworks to choose from and for later (when I hopefully make some money) five 18"x24" works to choose from. I want to start off small so I want to scan/print some of the smaller stuff first. My problem is my very limited funds to just pay for scanning the pictures. Plus I have to wait until things clear and setup on the site.
Honestly feel super excited about the idea of selling my art for a profit. I didn't make them with that intent originally, but everyone I show it to seem to like it. And I'm always open to the thought of commissions if ever asked. Though I wouldn't make prints of commissions. Just keep it for a log of stuff. Also the thought of not being so poor all of the time is a happy thought. Once things are more setup though I'll make a post about it again. Hopefully I can get things setup quickly enough. <3
