There’s No Justice In Life - Snakefinger’s Vestal Virgins (1987)
One of Snakefinger’s greatest tracks. One can only imagine what kind of album he would’ve made to follow this one up...
Savage, Walter. Savage.
The Golden King - Snakefinger’s Vestal Virgins (1987)
I can’t stop listening to Night of Desirable Objects, just a fantastic release in so many ways. Snakefinger breaks free of the heavily Residential hold on his early records and makes something all his own.
Having a Day with this Desirable Object.
Night of Desirable Objects - Snakefinger (1986)
Snakefinger's most unique album and sadly, his last. Allmusic has the best description: "Night of Desirable Objects features ornate jazz instrumentals, an English fiddle ballad, and a bit of a cappella gospel," which describes his musical range pretty well. Somewhere in another dimension is a Snakefinger who kept improving and producing great new music.
