Day 1 of 30 Miles in June completed
Its been a rough few months since the games were completed, tried doing the 3k push-ups in May and in the middle of it all took a road trip to Texas and came back with a boot cup from The Big Texan... so couldn't even finish.
So here we are in June, part of this was because I was inspired by a man who had a stroke and before we could even talk some more and got to know more about him he disconnected. Im still gonna follow through with my June plans and more will be said about this on the podcast this weekend.
For now, im hurting. My hip arthritis has been flaring up and I still need to make another appointment with the chiropractor. But I needed that walk to loosen the hip flexers.
Hello again fitblr community, I told yall I was coming back.
I hit a long covid milestone today - my first run! It was very slow going with lots of walk breaks and it’s perfectly possible that I may have overdone it and end up realising that it’s still too early to run.
I also had my first yoga class last weekend. Hopefully this is the start of getting back to being me 🤞
an early morning run to start the day, followed by some stretching, and of course a nap💤
