Today is the final day to complete the Ghastly King and Ninja Kong event in #DonkeyKongBananza. 🍌

What worked for me was to focus on the melon juice perks. I also strategically completed the Void Goals to make good use of the Stompoid perk.

Name: Ninjape

Debut: Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat

You might expect me to be furious about Ninjape, considering that it is clearly a monkey, and yet its name contains “ape”. But you know what? I’m not! Because that’s not the only way its name can be read. How about “Nin-jape”? Jape! What a great word. And by having “ape” in its name, Ninjape is indeed japing us. Tricking others into thinking you’re something you’re not? Truly an excellent strategy for any ninja! Whoever named Ninjape clearly put this much thought into it.

The Ninjapes appear to be allied with Ninja Kong, an actual ninja ape. He’s one of the Evil Kings, a group of evil martial arts-using Kongs, and wow! If their very existence doesn’t show that Nintendo had no idea what direction to take with the Donkey Kong series in the post-Rare era, I don’t know what does!

I don’t really have anything else to say here. I mostly made this post just to say what I did in the opening paragraph. We’re ending class early today. Don’t forget to study for the quiz tomorrow!
