I'm glad people are making resolutions and goals this year...

But that shit always feels either empty to me, or like I'm setting myself up to disappoint future me. There's substantial argument that almost literally no one can stick to New Years goals the way they like. I'm going to fall flat on my face enough just in the normal passage of life this year. I don't need to come down on myself later for not completing an arbitrary list of impending self-condemnation and disappointment. Here's to a year of organic circumstances. Let's see what I get. 0 expectations, 0 disappointments.
