Just Hit ▶️PLAY : [👈🏼 slides #marketing #branding #concept ] i figured it's high time to counter the no fun city rhetoric with a notion that Vancouver is quite a #funcity to dwell in. It's all a virtue of ones definition of #fun ... #justhitplay button & #gooutandplay ... Certainly we are among the most spoiled-for-choice cities in North America for variety of #outdoor #leisure options in #recreation (for sure in Canada). While some still parrot an old (10+ yr old) slogan "No Fun City" in ubiquitous appliqué as a blanket critique of our city's possibilities for pleasure seekers. However, that was conjured up in a particular campaign to lobby our BC Provincial Government (Victoria) to ease up on alcohol restrictions (regulations & laws) all over British Columbia - yet affected nightlife/bars/clubs & other alcohol venues in BC's "big city" ... Vancouver, may need more autonomy from the rather demure decorum of our Capital, Victoria - but the struggle with #nofuncity #nofun ends there. Unless you're only interested in partying at night or drinking all hours, then Vancouver's not your town. But if you're somewhat #athletic, #fitness oriented, #outdoorsy or just plain #playful then you're #spoiledforchoice here.
