I hate Brisk so much for making Little My cry because of how much of an ass he was to her. Like she just wanted a pappa!!! I know that Joxter isn’t her biological dad but hear me out…what IF he actually was her biological dad? It’s just a “what if” I tend to have in mind sometimes 😔
I have actually also thought about that "What if Joxter is also Little My's bio dad?" and like Little My and Snufkin being twins or something. I think it could be a really interesting story for fanfic and be a good read.
However that had got me wondering whether they are gonna confirm Little My as Snufkin's OLDER sister or his YOUNGER sister. Cause while in the OG book there's no debate she is definitely older than him most of the animated adaptions over the decades seem to lean over into making her the youngest of the main gang. Which I don't entirely blame because even in the books after memoirs they seem to have Little My being consistently mistaken by other characters as a young child. Even Snufkin gets some convenient amnesia in Moominsummer Madness where he doesn't remember who Little My exactly is and just keeps treating her like she's a little girl.
So yeah it's like 50/50 on whether she's older or younger yet. Granted everything they have foreshadowed and referenced about memoirs in the show so far has been pretty accurate to the book and like I said there is no debate in the actual book that Little My is Snufkin's older half sister. So it can still be more likely she'll be older. I'm personally hoping that's the case cause I just think it's cuter for their dynamic if Little is Snufkin's "big" sister. I've just gotten more attached to that interpretation thanks to fanon and I would be really happy if that FINALLY came back up in canon again.
But yeah I also agree about Brisk. He and 90s Stinky are on my hit list. 🥰
AAA do you happen to have any expectations for the film? :0 I REALLY hope we get to see more Mymble and Joxter moments bc I love them sm…OH- And I hope we get to see Mymble Jr as well since she WAS always in the Moominappa’s memoirs stories! :D I’m super excited you have no idea >w< !!
Yeah I really hope we could get an animated version of the carousel scene from the book between Joxter and Mymble. They did their relationship SO WELL in episode 11 I was honestly shocked because in all the other adaptations they tend to be completely ignored. TvT Even though they have quite a few sweet moments in the original book like them talking and laughing with each other the whole night on swig sets after the King's party.
And if they made Joxter and Mymble this cute I would be so excited to see how cute and sweet they'd portray Muddler and Fuzzy's relationship. ^v^
And the thing about Mymble Jr. is also exciting to think about since Memoirs is the book she was first introduced in so it makes sense to also introduce her there. I actually have some theories for why Mymble Jr. hadn't shown up in the show, both a story reason and a technical one, but I'll save that for another post/video.
Either way I'd just be the most excited that we could potentially and finally get an adaption of this book that actually takes the parent plot line seriously instead of just mentioning it vaguely or just ignoring it completely. TvT

I'm glad other people understood what I was trying to get across in that video. I feel like when I make long discussions like that I just become a rambling mess that no one can understand. So I'm glad people understood my points and where I was coming from. I was legitimately nervous when I first posted it cause of how mad I saw some people were which would then lead to people being mad at me- But like that didn't happen it was just my brain messing with me so, yeah. XD
And honestly my theory for when the movie comes out is either 2025 or 2026.
Because according to that poster it looks like the film went under planning around the same time as season 4 did, which was 2 years ago.
The reason why I think it could possibly come out next year is that 2025 is the Moomins' 80th anniversary and I feel like Moomin Co. would want to put out a lot Moomin stuff this year. So it's possible they'd ask Gutsy to set the release date around then. The problem with that theory though is that would mean the movie would've taken 3 years to make and most animated films take at least 4 years. Which is why I also think 2026 could also be when it's released.
Granted the 4 years thing is for movies that are meant for theatrical releases, I don't know if there's much difference in movies that are for TV series and that are most likely gonna be for streaming/cable.
Like I tried looking up how long movies like Steven Universe the Movie and the Craig of the Creek Movie took to make but I couldn't find any info on that.
Either way I don't think we're gonna know or hear about much until it is close to the release date. I mean Moomin Co. doesn't seem to like to release trailers and stuff until like- a week or two before the thing comes out. XD I don't know, we'll just have to wait and see.

While how they look when MK came into their lives is their early to mid 30s.
And while technically Mei and MK don’t have official ages most people in the fandom agree that they must be around the 18 to early 20 something stage considering they can both drive and in China you have to be at least 18 to get your license.
Which would make Pigsy, Tang, and most like Sandy in my personal headcanon in their 50s by the present time of the series.
But that’s just like my personal interpretation of things. Maybe I’m self projecting a bit cause like I’m 21 and my parents are like in their early 60s. So I may be projecting that onto Pigsy, Tang, and Sandy.
But if their official ages are 41 and 43 like you said either way they’re still gonna be middle aged men and I’m completely fine with that XD

If your not interested it’s fine but Have you heard of or watched moon girl and devil dinosaur? Season 2 comes out tomorrow February 2.
The main character i love she gives me autistic vibes I’m autistic. The show has interesting characters, action ,great music, and animation ,good themes and representation, Anime references, it even has an eyecatch season 2 is going to be more story driven if you find that interesting. It also shares the same animation studio as rise of the teenage mutant ninja turtles.
It be good if you watch the first 2 season 2 episode when they air so the ratings will be higher. And watch the other season 2 episodes when they air.
I think Disney might be trying to sabotage the show with them probably dropping 14 episodes on Disney + on February 3. They did similar with season 1 and the ratings where low ,please watch season 2 episodes when they air on. But more importantly also watch it on Disney + on feb 3 and when they air it on YouTube. Unfortunately they are dropping 14 episodes on Disney + so watch them all in one day but also when they air the first time.

Hello! Thank you for the ask. I had been planning on watching Moon Girl for a while due to how amazing the clips of it I saw were but unfortunately due to current events I will not be watching it. Due to Israel’s current genocide against the Palestinian people, particularly in Gaza, me and many other people are participating in the BDS movement. As people found out more about this many of us, including myself, have canceled our Disney + subscriptions as solidarity to this movement and because Disney is listed as a pressure target. Now recently they have also announced to FULLY boycott any marvel products because currently in the new Captain America 4 movie there is a character named Sabra who is an IDF soldier/terrorist and is essentially a PR Zionist “hero” for Israel. Because of this people have been telling Marvel to take her out COMPLETELY from the movie but they have currently not budged. So BDS has since called to boycott ALL things Marvel until this character is taken out. And that includes comics, movies, merchandise, and of course TV shows. Which means most likely Moon Girl is a part of the boycott list especially considering her show is on Disney + too. So the only way I would be watching this show would be through pirating. After this post I will not be promoting any Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur or any Marvel Content until Marvel removes the character Sabra from Captain America 4. I’m sorry if this isn’t the response you were hoping for but I hope this may lead you to joining this boycott as well and maybe even incline you to start educating yourself more on the genocide that is taking place right now as well as helping in ending Israeli occupation of Palestine.

I really love the different tail designs, made me think about them maybe having different shaped paws too (I think River and Jasmine would have thicker cat-like paws while Samur and Mumriken would have raccoon-like paws. Fuzzy and 2019's are something in between).
