My late mentor, humorist Blaster Al Ackerman, used to draw scribbly Flair Pen drawings in a series called “’Are You Drunk?’“. The shtick was that it was a drawing of a famous person, living or dead -- sometimes literary or art figures, sometimes movie stars, etc. Only they always had too many eyes -- 2 on their right, 3 on their left. And the caption always included the phrase, “Are You Drunk?” One of Blaster’s former coworkers/protégés at Normal’s Books in Baltimore mentioned today on F*cebook that Rudy Giuliani’s star witness in the “election fraud” hearings in Lansing, Michigan, Dominion IT contractor Melissa Carone -- whose performance has gone viral for all the wrong reasons -- appeared to be intoxicated, and that Blaster would have had a field day with her. So I promised him I’d do an “’Are You Drunk?’“ riff on her. Here it is. I hope you enjoy it.
