Another Day Another Trip (3) (Short Vacay : Morotai Trip)

It was not a well prepared short vacation of Loto Squad (Bima, Saktya, Vicky, Alia, Natha, Rona and me). We just knew that we would go to Morotai, by a ship on Wednesday, July, 26th 2017 at 8 o'clock. After we arrived in Morotai? We didn't know what to do, where we should go, etc. I'd done a little preparation : looked for speed booth / a ship to go around the little island around Daruba and maybe snorkling, however we had no certainty. After the all dramas happened, finally we could have a short gateway from our routine activity : Vacay to Morotai : go around some little islands around Daruba.

Galo Galo Island (one of island around Daruba), but we didn’t visit this island.

We went around the little island by speed booth (just information for renting the speed we should pay 1 billion, it's capacity is about 20-25 people).

First, we went to Zumzum Island, in this island we could find two sculptures of Daugles Mac Arthur (aka the America's leader of World War II). Here there's also a cave which is connected to Mirror Pond (Arthur's bathing place). It has a beautiful beach and scenery of course.

So here is it I give you the photos of Zumzum island.

We went to Dodola Island after we'd explored Zumzum Island. We could walk surround the island fully for about 30-45 minutes. It has tombollo which is connecting to Dodola Kecil (it would appear when the seawater withdraw). We could play many things here : kano, snorkling, etc.

So, what did we do in this island. Oke, I will tell you know, obviously it will be mostly about me.

First, I walked around by my self. Apparently, Riko (friend from Morotai) asked Vicky to pick me up and accompany me, because he was worried if I would be lost (ups sorry for making you be worried, but honestly I just really like walking around by my self, I just need a little space to award me -me time-). However, after Vicky found me I left him behind (Haha, sorry Vick).

Then, I walked again. But, this time I accompany by someone (Re : Mas Banu). We did chit chat as usual, made some jokes, and took photos (actually only he took some photo of me).

I met my Loto Squad again, and continued walking around. Sometimes we stop, took a rest for a while, did chit chat, played with sea creatures and collected some of them (I’d collected it too, but I forgot to bring it hiks), took photo of us (of course, it just liked a duty hoho), sat on the hummock, swam on the tombollo sand, yes we had our quallity time. Fyi, when we were swimming, Saktya forgot that he brought a phone in his pocket. So he didn’t have any phone now (whereas he had lost his phone in the airport on the first day we come North Moluccas). But, yes our day spent well here.

By the way, in Dodola island there are some cottages which can be rented (500k/night, fyi). So if you wanna stay overnight, you can rent it.

In the afternoon, Aziz, Mas Banu, Pras, and Rafif played kano and Riko swam, I played a role as photography (yash, call me as professional wkw, oke it’s just a lie).

Yuhuu, that's all our short vacay to Morotai. We were very happy to be here. Actually we could go many other islands, however we just chose those two islands.

One day I will be here again to explore more, amiin.
