coming from an ex-radqueer, this identity is so helpful, for what "radqueer identities", especially on the more harmful side, were trying to get across.

i imagine you wouldn't want harmful identities to be coined as associds, just a thought i had. something i noticed is that radqueers have a conservative mindset, of not wanting to shift their language, to the point of saying "transid isn't what you REALLY are, just what you identify as" and THAT'S largely where i think this comes in, as a better alternative to what they think they're doing.

idk if this is too discourse-y of a discussing for the blog, but it might be worth stating a mild boundary of "don't coin harmful or radqueer identities" from this instead of going deep into discourse, if that's something you would wanna do instead. no pressure to respond about/to the radqueer stuff.

while made for more lighthearted associations, we dont personally mind slightly more sensitive subjects being coined as associds, we'll cw them as such for archival purposes though

we do have a hard boundary on anything relating to bigotry or real life harm / hatred, which we will not repost and do not want to be associated with, but we'll handle that if push comes to shove

associds are inheritely a lot lighter than other similar terms, less serious connotations and all that. having darker interests like horror and the like can definitely lead to someone wanting to id with like... associ-murder(er). which is way lighter of a term than a radqueer (+ adjacent) label, which is where our leniance comes from if people want to identify that way and coin those terms

i guess those harmful labels are on a scale. our limit would be when you hit -hateful or any form of abuse. we dont want that. kind of turning into a ramble at this point

this blog is a personal archive by @leafkinz for cataloguing all dialogue in the english dub of the video game enigma of fear / enigma do medo. i will try my best to tag each post thoroughly for organization purposes and add alt text to all images! if you notice i've made a mistake in tagging or have clearly missed something, please send me an ask letting me know so i can fix it or go back for it. everything you see on this blog was screenshot by me during my third playthrough of the game!

any posts that are not explicitly game screenshots will be tagged as "#not archive." dialogue that mentions an outside character by name will be tagged as "#mentioned: [character name]" (this does not include simply pronouns or nicknames to prevent clog of said tags).

please note that this blog will likely be a work in progress for a very long time! i am one person and a few seconds of gameplay can translate to quite a few minutes of work to make a post. my end goal is of course to have successfully archived every bit of dialogue in the game, but this will likely always be done in very short cycles. the blog runs on a queue of three posts per day that i will do my best to keep consistently backlogged. none of the art or writing featured on this blog belongs to me.

Saw someone ask in the tags of the allmate plushie if Mizuki had an allmate or if it was fanart. It's real! At the 15:02 mark of episode 3 of the DMMD anime, you can see a white stoat allmate with a black spiked collar curled up with Ren and Beni while their respective owners laugh over drinks. The allmate doesn't have a name or speaking role, and this is their only appearance, but it's real!

i get that people are worried about stigma but when youve been abused by someone with narcissistic traits, it leaves a mark thats hard to explain. its systematic harm. when survivors use terms like “narc,” its not about random pwNPD, its about the people who weaponized those traits to destroy us. pls don’t center the feelings of abusers over the voices of those still recovering from what they did.

the literal whole point of this blog is archiving posts that do in fact demonize random pwnpd (specifically!!! though nebulous subhuman "narcissist" posting isnt the bestest). im sorry and i appreciate that you worded this as patronizingly as possible so i dont freak out on you but you are looking in my face right now and telling me the constant ableism intertwined zeitgeistly with my (traumagenic) mental disorder just doesnt happen, despite being on the page dedicated to showing people it does!! the definitive point of npd is that it /is/ formed to cope with and recover from abuse and yet we are constantly talked over and about like nonpeople to the point where there are entire communities centered around our subhumanity
