I think I have trouble feeling, and then that trouble feeling makes me actually feel something: upset.
an example: I think using all pronouns is cool. I want to, and I’ve used those little pronoun tester websites, and I go “huh, that sounds cool, I kinda wanna do that actually.” but my thoughts tell me “IF YOU REALLY WANTED TO, YOU WOULD HAVE A BIGGER REACTION TO IT!”
another example: I never really cry at fiction, even if it’s something I really liked. I loved madoka magica, although I’m not really in the fandom, but people talk about how it made them really emotional, but I just… didn’t feel that. idk. it was cool I guess. I really liked it but it didn’t bring me to tears. in fact, literally no show ever has
another one: I don’t feel crushes intensely at all. like it’s just “I guess I would say yes if this person asked me to date them. I’d like to cuddle and feel their warmth.” only. I’d never ask them first because I don’t care enough
uhh is there a word for being painfully nonchalant?
I've been a little depressed but I'm not "depressed" I don't "have depression"

My own work disgusts me, at times. I find it flat, I find the words that had depth now are as shallow as a children's pool. I look to the right, and then to the left: so many other of us here and there, their poems with hard-to-read fonts, and crazy weird background colors. Big ones, 10k+ ones, think they are fools. But I see the magic, I see the struggle, the courage, the craziness, the sadness, the reflection in the mirror—blurred. The writing is good, but my eyes are dull—addicted to the aesthetic, to the trend, to the dopamine cycle, to the movement—how do I break this cycle? I'm being swallowed by it! I want to me the same, and to fight the norm. I want to inform, to conform, to deform, and then to destroy everything. I want to be real, to open a way, to see and be seen, and to become, and delight in the fact that I am another human being.
I used to think me constantly being too tired to care about anything and just wanting to sleep was depression.
Turns out my blood pressure is just super low!
Must I be out of bed? Is it not enough to simply be awake?
