Electra was really flattered at first for obvious reasons, they were like "omg this is literally me", but they eventually got a little creeped out because E-Lektra is... different to other trainfolk.

I think the best way to explain it is the tonal shift in AC/DC. Pre-2018 AC/DC is very flashy and out-there (if that makes sense), whereas new post-2018 AC/DC is calmer, and kinda haunting and eerie.

So whilst Electra is a flashy diva, E-Lektra is... eerily quiet. They're kinda detached from reality, with their concept of emotions and feelings not all there (because their emotions have been programmed into them, rather than experiencing them naturally).

Starlight (the magic that gives trains sentience in my headcanon) is also what allows them to feel very human emotions, feelings and thoughts. E-Lektra was a test by humans to create a locomotive without starlight, and they're very robotic and often express the wrong emotion (e.g: when they're happy, they might start shouting and looking angry).

Because they were created solely by humans, E-Lektra also doesn't believe in the Starlight Express (unlike the original Electra). Their mind literally wouldn't be able to comprehend her if they saw her, because her existence isn't programmed into their mind.

TLDR: Electra is human in every sense but physical (bc they're a train ofc), E-Lektra is more like an AI.
