hi! welcome to main story quest, a final fantasy/kingdom hearts-inspired webcomic about some guys trying to do main story in a VR immersive alternate version of ffxiv with gatcha, but a game-breaking bug keeps getting in the way... it's a parody of final fantasy and a retelling of the plot of FF7 in the world of FFXIV, my love-letter to the series, a criticism to where the series has gone, and most importantly an attempt to fulfil a childhood dream of mine to write my own final fantasy game.

goals:
-would like a readership but that's gonna come on its own as i fulfil my other goals. i write and post this for me and me only -have a steady update schedule, posting at 7pm est just for the whimsy -take my time with chapter 1. i don't need it to be perfect, but i do still want it to have a sense of quality. i still have a bunch of character designs i need to finalize, but usually what has ended up happening (except with lark, whose design has been the only constant except maybe their braid) is i make small changes up until they show up in the comic where i change the design drastically and finalize that one lol
after chapter 1 i think i'll take some time before the next chapter to work on character bios and stuff so i have some more time in between. idk, please look forward to all of it \o/
