Oh hey, this blog isn't dead

Thanks to there being new variants! And not by Funko for once

First off we got a grim reaper Foxy, a mummy Bonnie, and a vampire Freddy for a halloween launch. No clue on if there's a Chica or not. Normally I'd be kinda iffy on if these count as variants, but I covered the Survival Crew skins, so fuck it

Fun fact: originally the halloween launch was going to be some fnaf 4 characters, but that was vetoed. So for once(to our knowledge), merch companies and their greed isn't the reason for needless variants. Though it certainly makes me wonder about past ones

Up next we have Shadow Bonnie- wait a minute. The actual Shadow Bonnie figure is supposed to release in 2027 and this doesn't look like him at all. But you know who it does look like?

Either Funko's Shadow Bonnie is getting a new brother or Neon Bonnie is getting a reverse of the Funtime/Toy Foxy treatment. We'll have to wait and see I suppose

Y'all know the drill by now, I come in and share news about new variants. But this time, I'm not talking about the official games

I'm talking about official merch of fan games. Ones that are part of the fanverse and, therefore, also technically official games in their own right... Anyway, Phantasmagoric Ignited Freddy and Translucent Green Popgoes exist now. One's glow in the dark, the other just looks like a gummy

Except, technically only the gummy one counts as a new variant?? Cus when googling to see if my memory was right about the Ignited Freddy one, apparently that guy has actually shown up before in one of the extra stages

Y'know with how many merch variants I post here, you not only could make one fanmade location, you could make several just for these guys alone

Idk, would y'all be interested in me discussing this kind of concept?

Y'know, I started this blog over a year ago as a test to see what would run out first: my motivation/commitment to the bit or the amount of variants. I expected this to last- maybe a 100 or so days, then I'd either give up or I'd run out of characters

408 days later, I finally finished doing all the currently released variants. Sure maybe I'll cover any that come out in the future, but for now I've reached the end. Not really sure what to do with this blog now, but I'm open to suggestions

You know I should really stop writing the posts really late at night. Reading past entries is basically a game of "notice the typo/grammar issue/whatever"

Got some updates for the Merch Park au

-The blacklights officially have a section of the park dedicated to them -Chocolate Chica and Chocolate Freddy run a desserts shop -Dark Springtrap has been added to the haunted house I mentioned last post -The glamrock mystery mini blacklights run a dance floor type building

And I have come up with the "backstory" for the haunted house: dying hasn't stopped Springtrap from wanting to kill, but it has made it more difficult. So when a woman stumbles across him, he uses her to manipulate the ghosts of the classic animatronics into killing people, slowly regaining his strength in the process. Customers will see bits and pieces of this as they go through the building

In reality, both of the Vannys in the theme park are animatronics that are built to look like people in costumes. The "ghost children" are also not the actual MCI kids(well- not their souls, anyway), instead probably being closer to beings like Pit Bonnie
