Oh wow another artist procrastinating on their projects to play this game

yes shut up. let me be happy.

So allow me to spin you a tale on some shenanigans that otherwise would not occur in canon.

Starting with the clown painted elephant in the room. While my island is mostly inhabited by OCs, I included a couple other characters from other media for funsies. Hugh Morris is one of them.

I implemented both him and one of my newer OCs (Jett btw) to introduce a bit of chaos for romances. Homewreckers if you will.... And then Jett immediately got a crush on Hugh Morris. I entertained the idea since I thought it was... well. humorous. Flash forward a couple of days and whoops now they're married... Congrats I guess?

Seth is a longtime staple OC of mine, a totally not gay dork of a demon. But most are probably unfamiliar with Idaya. She's also a new OC for a DND campaign I'm currently in. A soulknife rogue, drow/air genasi mix, whose also pretty gay.

I never envisioned a universe where these two would meet or even get along but they're pretty good friends. (Probably on account of their mommy issues)

I also had fun coloring manually here with the pencil tool lol.

This one is pretty explanatory. Those who play the game are probably familiar with the sheep dream/costume you can get from it and a friend added Zane (and Andre) to their island. And of course we put Zane in the sheep costume, it just fits him so well! He loves it! He's fine! /j

But out of all the possible shenanigans, a friendship between Mishal and Rosalyn was the most unexpected for me. These two are kept apart in canon. Rosalyn doesn't know he exists and Mishal starts hyperventilating anytime he sees her.

But what if you took away all that and just put them in a room to talk? Well I mean. You'd have two individuals who usually solve their problems with violence. Mischievous, cunning, and loyal to their family.

Mishal adores Rosalyn and really looks up to her, gathering the household to express appreciation for her multiple times and cheering her up when she's feeling down. Rosalyn often trains with him and invites him on her adventures on the island.

It's honestly really nice watching their dynamic as what could've been if the circumstances had been different... Alas. Canon.

TLDR; I really like this game and all the canon crack friendships that I now get to watch unfold and doodle. I realize this is probably audience of one but I'm more than happy with it. Now to go back to procrastinating on the TvT comic.

The gay has taken hold of me-#HappyPride!

I've been slurped right back into an Obey Me rabbit hole with the announcement of the new game. Everytime I think I'm over it. Those diggity dang demons show up at my door with their googly eyes and dysfunctional personalities and I'm head over heels all over again.

SO IT'S GONNA BE ALL Y'ALLS PROBLEM. HAVE MY DOODLES AND MC LORE.

‘Self Portraits & Other Scenes’ in Sweden 

I have been exhibiting a series of photographs at NP33 in Norrköping this autumn alongside photographers like Pieter Ten Hoopen, Lu Kowski, Johan Bergmark and Alison DeMars. 

Me and Zara visited for a week during Spegla - a new Swedish photography festival highlighting the importance discussing the power of the photographic image and it’s influence on society through advertising, newspapers and social media. Three days packed with exhibitions, lectures and workshops (I ran a 2 day wet plate collodion workshop). 

The exhibition opened during Kulturnatten, 24th September 2016.
