Maybe I missed it, but what is it you're teaching? (if you feel comfortable sharing of course!)

I can't believe how far you've already gotten in your bacc! It feels like yesterday when we first met Tyler and Dulce and now you're already at year 3???
It's always such a fun read, and even tho I have to circle back sometimes because my memory fails me, I always love meeting the new characters and seeing everyone interact!
I hope you keep enjoying it and allowing us to enjoy them with you😊
awwww Anne this is such a sweet note! thank you for being here and coming along for the ride 🫶🏻
I am definitely still loving my scrappy little community and have so much in mind for their futures! sometimes the hardest part is waiting til we get to the next big thing I’m excited about, but I’m still enjoying the goals-oriented process of (mostly) following the bacc rules.
thanks for the ask, lovely! 💗
Wait wait your gif made me realise how much Yaz's outfits feature stars😊 i love it so much
right? it's like she's in love with an alien or something 🤭 she really couldn't hide it if she wanted to
Might I offer good vibes and my kitten Nori in this troubling time
thank u... i will make a warm little bed for nori in my heart as well
Hey Tort...I'm feeling a bit down (: could you tell me your fav Skord moment?
hmmm, there's many many parts i love in skord... so I'll go with a tinier, less common one for funsies
one of my favorites is that one part in the Lanayru Sand Sea section, when you go to Skipper's Retreat. like, once you go inside, after you clean out the entire place, you usually can just... leave. most people do, actually - you've done what you went in for and there's nothing else to do. but if you stay for a bit and sit down, Fi will just... randomly pop out and say this
"A report, Master."
"I have detected a bug infestation in the upper area of the house."
and then back in the sword she goes.
you might be like: "but, tortilla! she's just talking about bugs! why this moment???"
because this is Fi popping up to tell Link this because she thought he might like it. that's it
she detected these bugs (which, for the record, are two (2) Sand Cicadas), and her robotic brain (who's starting to learn about humans and emotions through Link at this point!) went: "I detect Bugs outside this house. Master has tried to catch 89% of bugs we've encountered. There's a 95% chance Master will appreciate getting told the location of more of them." so she does just that!
if you try to sit down before you've done what you're there for, Fi will instead say this
"I recommend waiting until after you have achieved your objective before taking a rest. First we need to find the sea chart."
this is how you know her comment was genuinely considerate of Link's actions in the past. usually every other time she pops out in the game it's to give you information that's related to your adventure (or to redirect you towards it), such as the above, but this time she decides to tell Link something unrelated to his mission, pretty much just because she considers it'll interest him, at a time she knows won't really interfere with their main goal (he was taking a rest anyways, what's a few more minutes to check out some bugs?)
and she's right! it Will interest him - and we see this through the player, because most people, upon hearing this, will rush outside to see where/what the bugs are. either out of curiosity or because they think it's part of the mission (because Fi told them, and Fi only tells you mission stuff right?)
i just think it's a neat part of the game... during the entire Sea Sand section there's talk about robotic/artificial life and how they all actually HAD a life, families and feelings regardless of their nature, and you can See it get Fi thinking about everything she's been through so far with Link, and this thinking shows through in little moments like this!
ooooh you changed your picture! where's it from? it looks really pretty <3
It's from a piece of very early Granite Falls concept art, normally I go for something City Living related so really mixing things up in the new year! 😁😊
Hey Nick :) do you have any more Groosezelink hc's ? I'm in a mood and thinking bout them always cheers me up
Sure!
Groose is an early bird, he's always the one who is up with the sun (and frequently before), as a result he tends to make breakfast. Each of them has their favorite breakfast foods though, Zelda loves pancakes, Link (once he is out of bed) absolutely ADORES pumpkin oatmeal, meanwhile Grooses go to eggs and toast.
Zelda is a nightmare in the kitchen, and cooking with her is a team sport of sorts. It's 50/50 odds on if the dinner has to get thrown out and they go get pumpkin soup instead. No matter what, everyone has a good time (LOTS of giggles and smiles, and three loftwings that stick their heads in through the window to try and snatch up some flying scraps) and usually ends up with more food on them then actually gets cooked.
Link is somewhere between Groose and Zelda when it's his turn to cook. He makes good food, simple, but yummy and both Groose and Zelda agree that whenever Link cooks stuffed pumpkin, it's their favorite meal.
Hi Molly! How've you been? Hope everything's going well! Have a nice week <3
hi anne! ❤️ i hope you're doing good!!
i'm actually doing a lot better - i've been having a lot of health struggles in the last year (both mental and physical), but overall things are finally on the upswing! 👏
