no, no... oh, okay!

Hypnos refuses help only to be polite. But just once. Maybe twice (he’d have to be uncomfortable for reasons). If help is insisted upon him he’ll take it. Cause he wants help. He likes help. Help makes everything so much easier for him and he really finds it difficult to ask for it. Unless something is really wrong he’ll just deal with whatever’s bothering him. He doesn’t believe people really wanna help him out though and to him that’s normal and perfectly okay.

Being helped would make him think, oh wow! There’s someone who actually thinks about me in return! And? It’s nice. Any help is good help. Any thought is good thought.

Discarded sketches from Hypnos. While he offered the portrait of the God Apollo, Charon didn’t seem interested in Olympians as a result of the distance. The swift god was swiftly eliminated without even getting a chance, as he still counted as an Olympian in Sleep’s eyes despite his status as an honorary Chthonic God. He didn’t know any better.
