so ive been considering at what age it becomes appropriate for one to make a blog and begin airing out their fermented thought-forms in an attempt to reclaim the vessel. the answer is never. people are not entitled to be heard about anything. a blog is an adamant refusal to admit that your words are worthless in the face of all human experience. so why are things still said?

Obsitinant — adj. unwilling to follow directions; stubborn

Finnik was often obstinant. She hated to do what others told her, and that might just explain why she had been locked up in the dark, dank cell that she now resided in.

Finnik drew another line on the wall, acknowledging the meager amount of light that poured through the small window. She attempted to look out of it and the door to the cell opened.

Obstinately Stout-hearted?

I have recently discovered Wordnik a cool web site devoted to words and the people who work with them and love them.   I've taken to clicking on the Random Word link just to see what pops up, and at times I waste hours reading the pages for different words.   

What a difference a hypen makes.   According to Wordnik  stouthearted is defined as "brave; courageous" and secondarily as "pluck" or "stubborn".   Stout-hearted  (note the hyphen) is defined as "having a brave heart,  also obstinate".    It's odd what a difference adding that hyphen makes to the meaning.   It also seems to me that bravery and being obstinate are near antonyms.   Not states to be described by the same word.
