hii here to ask you about tavra and boz’ dynamic :3

omgg hiii so basically once Boz figures out Tavra isn't a good for nothing wimp, he eventually starts catching feelings because hes very beautiful and hes the first non clone authority figure whos ever been kind to him for a long period of time, and shows genuine human concern for him and his brothers,. So he's getting distracted by these feelings he has, but also never allows himself to act on them because theyre not regulation, it would be unprofessional, and also the other person involved is a Jedi so he doesnt even want to know how that works.

Speaking of Tav being a Jedi, he can sense all of these things. Boz and Tav have a very deep understanding of eachothers mannerisms (for Boz its almost necessary for the job cuz Tav is so stoic. After working with him for so long he can read him like probably no one else in the galaxy). Tavra knows how Boz feels and wants to alleviate it. he's his most trusted second in command, he wouldnt be able to survive this war without Boz being there to support him. So Tavra gets Boz to yknow. step out of regulation to fulfill his human needs. cough cough.

So its one sidedly romantic!!! Boz is in love with Tav, but Tav is completely platonic. he feels for him very deeply, but its non romantic (tavra is proudly aroace! not that he knows that that is. but we do). in my mind its like , Tav taking care of Boz by giving him an outlet for all these feelings and sensations he's having, meanwhile Boz loves Tav like no ones business. That isn't to say that Tavra isnt into it also btw. he is <3

no one asked but im procrastinating going to bed so a quick yap of blindsight's dynamics (especially in the bedroom) are in order. Mild NSFW in the redmore i guess

the basic dynamic is "guy who has never fulfilled a want in his life" and "his caretaker" which . I think describes the basics of it pretty well. the only reason their relationship turns physical at all is because Tavra cares about Boz and can tell that he's driving himself nuts trying to hide his feelings about him . so he gives him an outlet :)

Some notable HCs (theyre just canon cuz im the boss around here but i like the term):

Tavra is the one who's controlling the situation. If it were up to Boz, especially at the start, the whole affair would be over with pretty quickly, because he wants to "get it over with". Tavra sets a much much much slower pace and forces Boz to relax and let down his guard.

Tavra never ever wears his prosthetic, and if he rarely happens to still have it on, it is never involved in any physical contact w boz.

Boz is so so so so so shy and inexperienced its adorable. He's getting flustered just at the sight of Tavra in his temple clothes , let alone when he actually starts getting naked.

Tav is both extremely quiet, and very vocal. He doesnt pant or moan or anything like that, but hes always communicating, especially w Boz. With other partners, who are more experienced and with whom he's got an established relationship. he can get away with just going with the flow. With Boz (especially at the start) he's alwas chiming in w "slow down" "stop moving" "let me do it" "relax". His main goal is to get Boz to let off some steam, to unwind a bit . not get him more riled up

Occasionally Tav will sign stuff to Boz, but Boz cant see cuz hes squeezing his eyes shut SOVSOE whether its to focus or to avoid seeing Tavra is unknown.

Once Boz gets more comfortable with the arangement, he does start opening his eyes.

Also of note, Boz is the ONLY person Tav would have sex w (there's one other person, but he was around before Boz was ever even in a test tube). And theres a scene where the two of them are just sharing a bed (Tav found Boz drunk or something like that, and took him back to his quarters to clean him up and get him to rest) and Boz asks "Do you feel the same way about me, as I feel about you?" Tavra (aromantically): "Probably not." Boz (drunk and jealously): "So you would do this with anyone in the squad? Or anyone else?" Tavra: "No, I would not"

Boz is not allowed to wear his armor in Tavra's quarters in the temple. or in their venator. As his last order before shedding the title of General (which is also forbidden in his quarters. in there hes just tavra), he tells Boz to take his armor off. Eventually he gets him some cozy sleeping clothes that aren't regulation army blacks.

All of this does actually work to help Boz focus on . not getting horny on the job LMAOO. Mac definitely knows whats up.

There's also obviosuly an experience gap between them . Tav knows exactly what he wants done to him, and how he wants it done. Boz has basically no experience beyond jerkin off as rarely as possible because it unprofessional and is time better spent doing actual GAR work.

theres probbaly a milion other things im not thinkin of that i could add. their dynamic is constantly being revealed to me in moments of random inspiration. how characters have sex w each other is fun to explore because it shows off dynamics youd sometimes not see (he says, asexually). Theyre also both hot and pretty to draw. tee hee

tavra and the 380th specialize in defense and escort missions (sorta like how plo and the wolf pack specialize in rescue ops) which is why boz has the shield. its retractable and usually is folded up into his vambrace . its also where tavra feels and honestly is most useful. since his force sensing range is so big he basically works as radar and can put the squad on high alert whenever something suspicious approaches.

obviously they'll occasionally also have to collaborate with other squadrons for bigger and more offensive operations, but at that point he almost always diverts command to the other jedi or commanding officer.

tavra would rather eat a shoe than actually have to strategize in military terms . which is why he sticks with defense. it's what he did before the war anyway: protecting people, mediating disputes, holding off offensive parties, stopping suspected assassinations.
