WAYWARDEN & THE SOULBOUND - COMING 2023

    Dia Montes is content to slouch towards spinsterhood as caretaker of Compass House and its ornery cat. Never mind that Compass House contains mysterious Doors that open into unknown realms, many of which are populated by Stryx- deadly creatures straight out of lore and superstition.     When the current Waywarden of Compass House and her assistant go MIA— Dia must step up when an ancient threat comes through one of the Doors. To complicate matters, the past rears its ugly head when Dia discovers she is magically tethered to the enigmatic Ronin, a direct consequence of her mistakes. He barely remembers anything, but he comes with his own baggage, namely Leith, a cunning Fae Lord with his own agenda.     As the three settle into an uneasy alliance, secrets and demons come to light, with a Hellhound, sundry Stryx and nosy Filipino titas (aunties) thrown in for good measure. Will they survive the unknown Creature wreaking havoc on the city? More importantly will they survive each other?

Finally ready to show off my babies!  I spent NaNoWriMo getting it up to like 80% done, and will be posting the story in January. I have some character bios and sneak peeks lined up for the rest of the month-- hope you’ll join me for the ride!
