Day 16: Reading

I made a sketch. I’m still supposed to be studying all of my available time. I don’t know why I’m so terrified of picking up the book. Would it be so terrible to start reading and find that I can’t understand anything? Whatever, I’ve gotten so much other stuff done! :D

Decided to do a practice read

Tried giving WF Strix a general reading, I'm still figuring out Celtic Cross so I'll get to that one soon :[

Breakdown;

The seven pentacles suggests that Strix facing a new beginning or an opportunity to grow, a fresh start in life.

The king of wands signifies a strong individual, it represents charisma, confidence and assertiveness. It also encourages him to embrace his passionate and creative side.

The moon represents confusion, anxiety and uncertainty. It represents Strix's soft and (mostly) emotional side. The moon asks him to be wary as things may not be as they seem, and something might be afoot.

In combination, this reading suggest that a new opportunity in the realm of matter (Page of Pentacles) could be clouded by uncertainty, secrets or hidden factors (The Moon). However, by adopting a confident and assertive approach (King of Wands), he can navigate through the uncertainties and make the most of this opportunity. He must trust his intuition and embrace his inner strength.

I'm not aiming for accuracy from his story. After all, his story is still less than halfway done.. but it does relate to some aspects I've written for him. There is a big secret his newfound family of meatsuits is hiding from him, and the advice does correlate with how he will face them. The clouded opportunity the pentacles brought him points to his previous family, as he is still stuck in grief from losing his father to a dax. If he was to move on and face the moon, he will regain clarity.

Anyway. This here’s for you from the free spreads I was doing earlier. Interesting pull.. This is a definite message, and strongly enough that it makes me wonder...

Anyway, what I was looking for for Gidieon was along the lines of “What’s in store for Gidieon?” or “What’s next for Gidieon?” Pulled some interesting cards here :o

This to me says he’s been doing a lot of hard work and he’s got more hard work to come, but I also sort of wonder if he’s gotten a little too focused on that hard work, or that he winds up becoming a workaholic for it.

King of Cups Rx

Normally the King of Cups is all about compassion and freely giving love, and doing so happily. In reverse, this King can tend to hoard it, and for the wrong reasons. He will give it out, that’s for sure, but it’ll be jealously done. This can also go to the extremes as well - he nor family can do no wrong, all is done for, and in, love and it is not incorrect or wrong in the way it is done.

The Tower

The Tower stands to show that things can be built, well so or not, but they can also be torn down. Sometimes it’s a well-timed bolt of lightning that gives us the revelation, but other times it has to be a powerful quake to shake the foundations to cause everything to come tumbling down.

Or, it could be the foundations of something that needs to be built instead. Sometimes it’s not about the breaking down, but the new growth and rebuilding that is yet to happen.

So, I hope this made any sense to you, Mel.

Definitely leave me some feedback on this, it has me a little unsettled.
