why did this take me like 3 months help--

Maya Allen - she/her, 14

Absolute menace, and very loyal to and protective of her friends. Although it takes her quite some time to warm up for people; she hated Ace for about 2 months at least. The houngest and the highest energy, she constantly has some sarcastic retort on hand. She's surprisingly emotionally intelligent though, which is a handy skill to have when most of your friends never open up about anything. Although she tends to just punch them (Coby) to get them to open up. In a friendly way. She's very much the short person who will go for your knees but at least she's funny.

Coby Raymond - he/him, 23

He's the unofficial leader-- not that he wants to be. He's definitely the only person holding the group together though. Especially since he doesn't want to end up alone again. He's best friends with Maya, and met her wayy before anyone else. He's generally really nice, although not a pushover, and can and will overthink everything. He's by far the strongest in the group, despite not looking it, thanks to... non-consensual genetic modification!!! Which also means he gets really tired, crashing way harder than anyone else, and comes with the bonus of he must wear the mask at all times so he doesn't suffocate as his lungs are pretty bad now. If the air quality is really good, he can take it off, but breathing in smoke could literally kill him. Oh yeah he also died. Don't worry he got better. And now he's traumatised.

Ace Antonov - he/him, 26

He needs a break </3. Not that he'd ever have one. Tired ass man who won't stop getting injured. It's almost as if he's trying to get himself killed. Oh wait he is. He's rather grumpy and closed off, although a lot of the grumpiness is just a method to push other people away. He's got the self-esteem and self-worth of a dead fish and literally cannot handle being cared about. It takes the others literal months to start getting through to him. Even when he's not actively pushing others away his actual personality is pretty quiet and short-tempered, but at least when you start getting to know him better he's insanely loyal, cares way too much, and even occasionally funny. In a very deadpan humour sense. The group is just doing their best to keep him alive since this man is a magnet for fatal injuries. He's originally from Russia, although he's entirely fluent in English. He also definitely does not have a crush on Coby (he does. He's not handling it well. Its requite though.). He's my friends' favourite character :D

Evelyn Montauk - she/they, 24

Literally the only voice of reason. She's not sure why she's here, but she knows for certain she's not paid enough for this. Evelyn's very much trying to take over the position as group leader, considering they're the best navigator and actually know where they're going-- as well as really liking leadership positions. Coby is more than happy to give up his unofficial role. Maya is not happy. She's definitely the smartest-- especially academically, even though that doesn't really matter considering the lack of schools around, as she graduated several years early and ended up working in IT. Quite often they spend a decent amount of time trying to figure out what the fuck is wrong with the group. Answer: A lot. She's sensible and serious, although not all the time as she's still caring and does have a much more fun side. She's not the mom friend. They refuse to be the mom friend.

19. How does your OC handle preparing for and initiating a difficult conversation? How does the conversation itself go?

He does not handle it well at all, he's just going to be overthinking the whole thing and freaking out. The conversation itself would go fine probably, but no matter how it goes he's going to find issues with it after and worry that he's upset the other person for ages.

36. Does your OC believe they deserve it when bad things happen to them?

Yeah. Not to the same extent as Ace but he still definitely believes he deserves it.
