hell yeah, more spewing out Actor AU headcanons!

The moment the cast of Carnival of Chaos met Tristan, they all had a very similar thought: Protect them.

Tristan is quite literally the most precious thing in the studio. A couple of behind the scenes videos have shown just how frickin soft the cast is with the goth.

Emily has started to develop a fear of Diego. Mostly because of the Mathlete scenes. Mostly because of how Diego reacted.

You know the fake idol Benji made? It was originally supposed to be a Chekhov's gun, but he ended up forgetting. Mostly because of how he usually doesn't get his scripts on time.

After the disaster that was All-Stars, Emily was put in charge of finalizing scripts, and is actually the one to put the braille on Richard's scripts ('cause in like the first DCAAU post, I mentioned that Actor!Richard is going blind)

For the fans who watch the behind the scenes of Carnival of Chaos, the highlight for them is seeing Tristan and Benji get hit on by the makeup crew member, Holly. She's usually the one to do their makeup, because the two usually freeze when she even so much as cups their cheeks.

And speaking of the makeup crew, Ethan struggles immensely when he tries to do Jade's makup. Why? He gets so goddamn flustered.

Benji was the first person (other than Ivy and Zaid) that Tristan was fully comfortable around. All he did was be extremely sweet to them, by the way <3

Sometimes the cast (and production/writing/makeup crew) will play try not to laugh. Everytime, the off-screen nurse, Darby pulls out this one character that has worked over and over again. And ever since his lost his leg, he turned his character into a cyborg, and that's somehow the funniest crap ever.

A lot of bloopers reels include Logan misreading words, Benji saying random out of pocket lines, or Zaid and Ivy being unable to stand being away from each other and getting extremely handsy with each other.

hii it's like 3 am and I'm not feeling to good (I might be sick?) and I know you're def asleep, but imma just dump some OceanJewel/Ethjade facts (with a touch of Peri) onto you

Jade was the one that initiated their first kiss. She finally decided, "fuck it", cup Ethan's cheeks and pulled him down for a kiss. Ethan was a blushing mess afterward.

Ethan adores absolutely everything about Jade: her smarts, her wits (are those the same thing?), and especially her looks. Ethan thinks she's one of the cutest things alive, like a living plushie <3

Ethan is also basically a living plushie, he's 6'1 and has a dad bod. Because of that, the in-universe fandom (and me) would call him a teddy bear dad.

Jade is actually surprisingly cuddly. But she mostly reserves it for her family, her closest friends (she has cuddled with Isabel before and it was adorable), and especially her romantic partners.

So yeah, OceanJewel cuddles are one of the best things to witness.

Oh and speaking of the teddy bear dad thing, when Ethan introduced Peridot to Jade, Peri immediately took to Jade. Hell, he started falling her "Mom" about five months after meeting her. He also gave her one of the best shells in his collection!

Jade helps Peri deal with his vitiligo and Ethan absolutely loves that (add that to the list of things he adores about her). The fact that his son and his girlfriend get along so well warms his heart <3

While Ethan is a teddy bear dad, Jade is a grizzly bear mom. That means that while the two are very protective towards Peri, Jade is much quicker to go to bat for him (when possible)

Also as Peri gets older, the more his hair becomes much more difficult to take care of (at least with Ethan's help) since he inherited his bio mother's (rip Roxy) hair type, though it only started to come out when he was like eight. Jade was quick to help him learn to take care of it (can you tell how much I love making Jade a sweetheart?)

This is mostly because Ethan's gender is nonexistent ('cause, y'know, he's apagender) and his presentation is so unintentionally femme in a sort of "autistic girl who has collected rocks since she was seven" way that he makes sapphics (like say, Jade (very non canon in canon but canon in my rewrite and she also is fully unaware of it)) fall in love <3
