bloodletting is cool but v!abolish is the one who managed to do all the things the doc couldn't. Also, the mutual respect to each other's skills is there everytime they met (even tho Abolish knocked out Owen's tooth) and the fact that v!owen keeps offering the gift of vampirism to v!abolish when he doesn't really want to turn anyone in town like hello??? what's up with that owen??? Found it on the Abolish Ship Tournament (round 2) and @/betweenlands has me invested. To summarize, Apollo TB is a mad scientist running Vampires SMP as a simulation of a social experiment, and Abolish is his favourite employee who’s the inside man for the simulation. These two have exactly zero ethics and a soft spot for each other, and that’s what makes it great.
hi. it's us. the one person who coined this as a crackship for the hell of it and then became so genuinely obsessed with it that it's not even funny. it should not work. functionally speaking the two series these characters are from have wildly different tones (for the most part) and yet. it compels me. the idea of abolish being a secret triple agent for someone who isn't even a particularly well-known evil scientist. the professor layton vs ace attorney ass twist of vampires smp being a simulation run by this guy and how much scott would lose his mind over not actually being a vampire. the inherent tension of a boss/employee relationship where objectively speaking the suboordinate here is the one actually competent and in control but just doesn't want to have to do paperwork. the possibility of every single character, abolish included, turning up in wildly different contexts with eerily similar personalities and attitudes and remembering things they shouldn't remember. tv head forehead/screen kisses.

Not only is it really funny but consider: the au required to make this make sense would make Abolish evil, which is awesome. Plus guy who's endlessly devoted to his boss w/ his boss who doesn't really care about anyone. Except this one guy, because he's competent (and because he's really handsome-)
listen its so funny. evil scientist and his right hand man (that also may hold his hand) who the scientist will do basically anything he wants because this guy is so good at his job. right hand man who will do what the scientist asks because he doesnt have to do paperwork and lord PLEASE dont make Apollo disapear then Abolish would have to take charge and thats so much work. Also Apollo loves handing Abolish a gun. as he should
