she’s counting the stars and searching galaxies from where she’s seated outside the cottage. in all honestly she didn’t even mean to stay out in the cold for so long, but after failing to find reception, shannon found herself lost counting stars. causes her to not even realize her hands were rubbing against her bare arms in order to warm them up until sean speaks. head turns up and slightly behind her shoulder to watch him approach, causes her to shift and sit up straight.
madison had bailed last minute, claiming she had no time for a mini vacation, stated she had to study. which.. was so weird for shannon to understand because why would anyone choose homework over a getaway? yuck. so it leaves shannon pretty much defenseless, especially since sean was goofing around with jay and the rest of the boys all day. but she had practically pushed herself into an invite, and she wasn’t about to let it slip through her fingers even if she felt a little neglected.
