I’m going feral at this oh my gOD okokokok I have to leave for work soon but I needed to write this.
- “You deserve this,” he mumbles softly as he kisses down your chest. He lets his teeth graze of your nipple before moving lower, hand squeezing your hip as he admires every inch of you. “You’ve been such a good girl for me, so patient.”
- “This is all yours,” he assures you as your hand hesitantly cups his bulge. His eyes darken by the second as you grow bolder, rubbing the thick shaft through his jeans as he curses quietly. His hand rests over yours, encouraging your motions as he moans. “All yours, baby. It belongs to you.”
- “You’re so pretty, baby. Say it back. Tell me you’re pretty,” he orders, tone soft as he holds your jaw between his fingers. He’s hovering over your naked form, eyeing the blush in your cheeks as you whisper back. “I’m pretty.” “Good girl.”
- “I wish you could how you look right now, baby,” he pants softly. His hands are a vice around your hips, nails digging into the soft skin as he thrusts slow and easy into you. Your walls flutter and clench as he buries himself deeper, a choked wine leaving your lips.
- “You can do better than that, come on,” he teases as he kisses your jaw. His hips are relentless as they meet yours, the pleasure growing to an overwhelming high. Your jaw is slack, any sound stuck in your throat. You can’t think, can’t breathe, you’re just so full of him. His stubble tickles your skin as he kisses your neck, a pleased hum rumbling in his chest as you finally choke out a loud moan, nails dragging down his back and legs kicking around him. “There we go, good girl.”
- “You’re taking it so well, baby, breathe. Breathe with me,” he soothes. Your thighs haven’t stopped shaking since he slid inside you. The stretch, the overwhelming pleasure, how deep you could feel him. The sensations had you overwhelmed, your hands clinging to him as you panted and whined. He held your face in his hand, the other supporting his weight as he hovered over you. “Atta girl, deep breathes. You can take it, I promise.”
TL;DR - I need help looking for a CPD episode scene where Al and Hank are too tired/old to be running after a guy but do it anyways - between seasons 1-4.
I am looking for an episode -
Voight and Olinsky went to this place (junk/scrap yard? Mechanic shop? Someplace junky) and they were looking for someone - that someone greeted them and said they would go get the person they were looking for (or the manager or something!)
Hank and Al talk about something in the meantime until they see the same guy start running. They both kind of look at one another with a look that says “aw man now we gotta chase him” (or maybe they say something to that effect to one another). Then, they chase him.
I can’t find this scene on Google or YouTube just by keywords. I am trying to find it for a friend who has only seen a few episodes. It is definitely in the earlier seasons - between 1 and 4 somewhere… Can someone please help! Short of scouring the footage, I have no real way of finding this scene and pinpointing the episode. If you know which one it is, please help!
So, it's been a while since I actually sat down and gave this episode my full attention. It's usually just running in the background and has regular commercial breaks (which don't help with the focusing), and I forgot how packed this episode was.
Overall, this is a really great series opener and I'm going to put everything under a read more since it got kind of long. Let me know what you think!
(Just a side note, I haven't made a detailed text post in like, 5+ years, so I apologize if the formatting is a little wacky.. I promise I'll get better at it!)
Right away, this pilot episode is different than most; it actually has a title. Most pilots are named just that, "Pilot".
A "stepping stone" is generally used when referring to a means to an end; something you use to get you somewhere else. That phrase fits this episode perfectly.
While this episode does have a clear case-based plot, there is a lot of information about the main characters that gets stuffed in there.
We learn that Voight has recently been released from prison, and has been running a new unit, Intelligence, for just two months. We are introduced to Sergeant Platt, to patrol officers Burgess (who was previously a flight attendant) and Atwater, and to the tech guy, Jin.
We go a bit deeper into the Intelligence members. Erin has known Voight for 13 years, he gave her his card when she was a teenager, and according to her, "saved her life". Jay was brought in only a month ago by Antonio (which I know gets a pretty detailed story line in the corresponding Chicago Fire episodes), is partnered with Erin, and spent time in the military. Antonio is partnered with Jules, and along with Al Olinsky, appear to be the more seasoned members of the team.
A brand new member of the unit even gets introduced! We meet Adam Ruzek, handpicked by Olinsky right out of the academy. We are told that Adam's dad is also a cop, and has history with both Al and Voight. He grew up in Canaryville with his dad and Beverly with his mom. Voight tells Adam he should bring the Canaryville version of himself to the unit.
We even get a main criminal (aka the villain), who for now, seems to be sticking around for more than one episode. Pulpo, a Colombian drug cartel leader who has unknown history with Antonio from a case he worked on before he came to Intelligence.
I included all that introductory information to highlight how much was actually given here, when it may not have seemed necessary. Little details, like Burgess' previous job, Jay's military background, and the neighborhoods where Adam was raised, are not integral to this episode. As the season and even the series goes on though, these details set up the reasoning for the decisions that the characters go on to make.
This episode ends with the team going after a suspected target of Pulpo's, resulting in Jules being shot in the neck through the door. Unfortunately, she does not make it. As if that wasn't enough, the episode really ends with Antonio's son, Diego, being kidnapped.
Now, you are probably wondering where/who/why the words "stepping stone" came in this episode... as that is the whole point of this series... and so was I! I even found a script online from the episode, but no one actually says these words in any combination, individually, or together.
I believe that this is intentional. These 43 minutes are the stepping stone. This entire episode serves as the "Stepping Stone". This episode is our establisher, it's where we need to be in order to move forward both character and plot wise throughout the season.
The boxing ring had seen better days but it was one of the places that you still felt truly at home. Throughout your teenage years this place had been a sanctuary for you. You had been a scrawny kid back then with braces and a backpack filled with books, an ideal target for school yard bullies.
The first time you’d come home with a busted lip, your grandfather had given her a lecture about learning to hit back and marched you down here. The next time Shirley McIntyre caught up with you in the stairwell, she’d gotten a nasty surprise and you had ended up with a week long suspension. The look on your grandfather’s face when he’d been called up to the school had been a mixture of pride and amusement.
As the years went on boxing had given you the confidence and drive you had been lacking in your life. Being held accountable for yourself and your choices had helped you to mature, it gave you the strength to confront your own insecurities and developed your sense of self respect. You wanted to do the same for other young girls, ones in worse situations than your own so when Antonio had taken over the gym and asked you to step up and take over Roman’s training sessions you had accepted the voluntary position. These days you had your own set of trainees, which was why you were at the gym at seven am with Michelle Sovana.
The younger woman had come on in leaps and bounds over the past year, in terms of boxing and personal growth. She had gone from wayward juvenile delinquent to mentor of several younger girls that were enrolled in the community program that Gabe’s charity had set up. As a boxer Michelle was naturally gifted, she had great reflexes and she could take a hit better than most people. Her boxing style was more defined these days and you didn’t think it would be long before she was competing in the big leagues if Michelle kept up the trajectory she was working at.
For the millionth time this morning you held up the black focus pads that covered your hands, planting your feet firmly on the ground in preparation for Michelle’s onslaught.
“Ready?” You asked the younger woman.
“Are you?” Michelle shot back, tapping her gloves together before taking up her fighter’s stance.
“Give me all you’ve got.” You challenged your prodigy, mentally preparing yourself for the next bout of blows.
The impact rolled through your lithe form as Michelle’s punches landed, each one a stellar example of power and dexterity. Her right needed more work but that wouldn’t take long if they focused on that in the next couple of sessions.
“Alright Rocky, you got it.” You told Michelle, waiting for the other woman to put her fists down before you lowered the focus pads. “That’s all we’ve got time for today.”
Michelle nodded her agreement before she stripped off the velcro holding her red boxing gloves in place.
“Are we still good for Thursday?” she asked as you tugged the black focus pads you’re your hands before the two of you headed towards the edge of the ring.
“Definitely, before work is best for me so we’ll stick with seven am if it suits you.” You told her, using the back of your wrist to wipe the sweat off of your forehead.
Michelle paused for a moment and you could tell she was sifting through her mental calendar, you waited patiently for a moment, taking a sip out of the water bottle you had placed on the bench, alongside your gym bag at the beginning of the session.
“Seven’s fine.” she agreed before jerking her thumb in the direction of the locker room. “I’m gonna hit the showers.”
You nodded your acknowledgement before busying yourself tidying up the inside of your gym bag.
“She looked really good out there.” Al Olinksy commented, appearing in the space right beside you, almost giving you a heart attack.
“Jesus Christ.” You cursed, placing a palm on your chest in a bid to still the violent beating of your heart. “You have got to stop doing that.”
Al shrugged his shoulders haplessly.
“If it helps to make you more aware of your surroundings.” he said in a tone that left you wondering if he was serious or not. You chose to ignore the statement before responding to his original comment.
“We need to work on her right a little bit but I think she’s about ready to start competing.” you informed him.
“You think she’s got a shot?” Al asked, adjusting the rim on his hat so that it sat more comfortably upon his head.
“I think she’s got more than just a shot.” You confirmed, your fingertips picking at the white boxing tape that was wrapped around your hands before you managed to get purchase and unwind it. “I’ll look into getting her carded next week if she’s happy with the idea. Getting her into the Youth League would really give her an advantage if she wants to get into the Elite League when she turns eighteen.”
“That sounds good, how much do we owe you for today’s session?” he asked you withdrawing his wallet from his back pocket and flicking through the dollar bills tucked away in there.
“Just thirty.” You told him, tossing water bottle into your gym bag. Al raised his eyebrows, giving you a pointed look before withdrawing two twenties.
“You’ll take forty.” he told you, pressing the bills into your palm as he shook his head. “I keep telling you guys you’ll never make money if you keep undercharging.”
“It’s about making it affordable.” You reminded him before holding up the money between two fingers. “Thank you though, I appreciate it.”
