i’ve been seeing a lot more women in the esports scene lately and it’s making me rly happy. like idk if it sounds cringe but esports is such a hostile enviroment towards women so i’ve been extremely daunted from persuing esports but seeing women in both caster and player roles is rly inspiring

yeah it was michaels!

it’s artists loft brand and normally costs 65 dollars (tho i got it on sale for about 25 iirc w my employee discount, because the easels at my store periodically go on sale for 50% off)

there was a nicer one with a storage drawer for paints that was around 70-80 but i prefer the one i bought because i don’t always work with stretched canvas or canvas boards! (it doesn’t have a built-in drawing board- it’s more of a frame that stretches or shrinks to hold your canvas)

If it make you feel better they're pretty benign. In DC we get them so much and I found out they were coming from a crack/hole in my windowpane. There have been dozens of them in my room and I'm starting to conquer my fear of bugs to toss 'em out because they aren't as scary as other bugs (like roaches...)

yeah i’m able to get them out (usually) bc there are SO MANY OF THEM HERE

i just wasn’t expecting that one, and had to hold it up really close to my face to see what it was :-(

i found one on my pillow after i took down a bunch of posters and i just flung it across the room in a purely panic-induced response

the ones i bought were supposed to be 6 bucks a box! though they were also seasonal washi tape for valentine’s day, i can check the other ones

In high school I had a teacher make us watch Mr. Smith Goes to Washington (1939) and I wrote that almost word for word on the “post-movie quiz” and I heard my teacher laugh while grading it and he gave me an 80

in the quiz i had to take, we got to work on it during the movie fortunately but i could NOT keep track of their names for the life of me so i just started referring to them as “(adjective that vaguely described the character) dude”
