Pages 1-6 of a little one-shot comic I've been working on of my dearest OCS, Canis and Avery. Posted first to my insta @ mothwrath but I wanted to show them off here, too :)

This scene is set well into their relationship - so their dynamic as a couple has been solidly established at this point.

For some background on these two:

Avery Athens is a 22 year old college student studying comp-sci in the 90's.

Specifically, 1999.

She's recently fled an abusive romantic situation, and winds up at a bar because she's really awesome at making great decisions and curbing her desire to partake in risky and self-destructive behaviors (/s).

Here she runs into Canis- (aka Michael Canis Rockwell) a 28 year old mechanic with a soft spot for broken things. He clocks her damage immediately, and despite knowing it's probably only going to bite him in the ass, he intervenes when it's clear she's had too much to drink and the men around her are eyeing her like she's easy prey.

His intention is to help her out, get her safe, and wash his hands of her. But the universe has different ideas, and by being a halfway decent human being he's unwittingly placed himself square in the role of 'savior' for her.

She follows him like a stray, and he hasn't the heart to turn her away. Somehow, over a year of tension and yearning, push and pull, between two quite honestly emotionally constipated individuals- he finds that despite his efforts to remain detached, he's fallen for her. Devastatingly hard.

Their relationship navigates the tricky realities of being a survivor and victim of abuse, with themes of guilt, yearning, desire, restraint, and devotion.

Also it's Omegaverse because of course. Canis is an alpha who's afraid his nature will lead him to losing control and thus has been taking rut suppressants since he presented at 17, and Avery is an omega.

He is an Omega but sports Beta features, specifically in his height, fangs, and scent (I will create a guide for how scents work in this universe with real life examples you can experience yourself!)

His clothing revolves around a special interest in Cinnamoroll and Tensei Kawaii, though he likes anything comfortable

He wears scent patches on the back of his neck, the curve of his jaw, and wrists. There’s a personal scent blocker in his nose that looks like a black septum ring

hi! do you know of any omegaverse comics that aren't too fandom-specific? as in, an outsider could read it? thx!

Okay, so, I don’t know any that I personally know. I don’t really know how to search for those things, I really want to find some one day. Though for now I know that there’s this post that have a few comics/mangas. 

Although if anyone has names or links for omegaverse comics, please share! There needs to be a blog that centers around this, hah.
