OMITB 3.07 & 5.09
Omitb being about late bloomers (and late friendships we find in our lives, and relationships, and figure-it-out-careers...) is so sooo personal to me, I cant even explain how much this mean. Welcome back my dearest show, we missed you!!
OMITB s5ep9:
Actually unwell about how the last two victims have spent their dying breaths on getting to a place that the trio will find them. Lester going straight for the bird camera rather than trying to escape on the street. "My friends are gonna catch you." Cinda. Spiteful, overconfident, asshole Cinda who hated their podcast spending her literal last gasp on getting her hand inside the gate so she can be a murder in the building. Because she knows they'll find who did this to her.
Two people who know they're about to die, doing everything they can in their last moments to get the attention of not the police but Olimabel (the Charles is silent) because the level of faith their allies have in this trio is unshakeable. I am climbing the walls
(Also that ending music was incredible I'm sad as fuck they killed Cinda but I'm so so excited with where this is going)
should be illegal to have a character as good as theo dimas and not use him nearly as much as he could be, especially as a fan favourite and with such potential.
i can taste the chaos that would ensue if he joined the main cast in their investigation escapades.
excellent start of the season
Cinda reaching out to grab onto the gate of the arconia is funny in one way, bc she’s lying there hearing those idiots above her argue if they can technically investigate her murder if she’s on the sidewalk, they’re such an eye roll, FINE, she’ll use her last bit of strength to grab the stupid gate!
But it’s also SO tragic. I’m so emotionally susceptible to what the last few victims have done of leaving clues or trying to die in a way that either leaves hints for the trio, or helps them, or is where they will find them. It’s so tragic, the acceptance of death and trusting that your murder will be solved by your friends.
And Cinda? Cinda, running, either because she needed help or because she knew she was dying, to get to the Arconia, to those three idiots, because she trusts them to find out the truth. And in her last moments, she grabs on — because yes, it’s ridiculous, but she knows their rules, crazy as they may be, and wants *them* to solve it. She doesn’t trust the police or anyone else. That hand grabbing the gate was her saying “Please. Find out. I need help.”
TLDR: Idk man the finality and acceptance and trust of the last three victims trying to leave clues or in Cinda’s case literally leaving her body at their doorstep in a last-ditch effort for justice because these three are nothing if not committed to solving murder. She trusts them with that.
