Oh, some of me a damn thing I swore to upend. Near here somewhere, some of your old bale spears stuck with grimace within the earth. Oh, let our hands rejoice to be plowing again. Picked our loose ends up and whipped them on that same day. I swore to fight this exactly upon myself, and still in paralysis sleeping with the dogs, I am smiling when tossed aside again. Too cheap? Too steep? I can take it. I might just try to say something in the meantime.

a picture of a page from the siddur Mishkan R'fuah titled "A Prayer for Transitioning Gender" that reads:
"May the One who blessed our ancestors--Sarah, Rebecca, Rachel, Leah, Zilpah, and Bilhah; Abraham, Jacob, and Isaac--bless me as I enter into this new chapter in my life. The world was not formed by a single act. Each and every day God renews the work of creation. May God give me the strength to constantly renew my own creation. May I open my heart and mind to continuous growth, unexpected change, and the perpetual unsettling, liberating expansion of being alive; may I have the courage to name and sanctify this moment of change that is shaping my body and soul in the image of the ever-evolving Divine. Blessed are You, El Shaddai, our God, the Renewing One of the world, who has allowed me to reach this time of transformation. And let us say: Amen."
text on a translucent black bar towards the bottom of the image reads:
"may g-d grant me the strength to constantly renew my own creation"

Or else you won't pursue it.
Pleasant won't cut it. Nice is not enough. It won't take you further, it won't take you over the edge and let you go over it. It won't push you out of your comfort zone, quite on the contrary actually, it will keep you there permanently. You need to feel more than a pleasant tingling, you need to feel passionate, you need to feel breathless, you need to feel like if you don't go after your dream you're gonna die.
