strawberry, grape, tangelo, kiwi?:)
strawberry - fruit, gelato, sel roti (is it dessert?_), sesame flavoured things, whipped cream cake, chocolate almonds, rice cake , zenzai grape - chile, iceland, mongolia, morocco tangelo - dragon/ werewolf kiwi - mmm...everything ..but also space and emotions lmao
@onlythewinds Yes! I hope the snow will pile up during the weekend, so when I see them on Tuesday, we have some fuel for a conversation! Maybe even a snowball fight :>
@onlythewinds It deserves the comparison to Game of Thrones in that regard- another show I quit watching because the level of violence became unbearable. Cruelty is one thing, but this vulgar, raw violence, especially against women, is unnecessary to me. What’s the point? The ‘human nature’ trope is so overdone, and, like you said, I don’t believe in it. (Unless this is what more men feel like? Please tell me it’s not...) It feels like this is something of a counter-movement in film, against the heroic fairytale that used to dominate it, in which we were spared from emotions that were too extreme, or scenes that were too visual, and where the good would always conquer. But I don’t believe in this counter-movement realism either. Certainly not in a series about androids... Eventually even the characters you’re rooting for don’t weigh up against the dread you have to go through while watching the series they’re in. Especially, sadly, as a woman.
I’m still watching Westworld though. They’ve somewhat moved on from the violence of the first episodes and despite a lot of tropes and some loathsome characters, I’m still hooked on a couple of storylines. It’s always been a thing of balance for me. So far I can still get behind the idea of this show. Depending on how far they decide to take it, I may change my decision.
@onlythewinds There’s actually this girl who lives in my neighborhood and ever since her mom told me her daughter loves me because I look like an elf, I noticed the girl often stares at me and it’s the absolute cutest. I’ll be sitting on a bench outside and catch her looking at me, before shyly looking away. It’s the best kind of compliment.
13, 23, 41, 87? :)
Thank you!!
13: What’s something that made you smile today?I was at the hairdresser for 3 hours and my baby brother texted me asking me why it was taking so long and when I was going to come home.
23: What’s your favorite thing to do on lazy days where you have 0 obligations?Do those days exist? I guess I just like to take it easy. Sleeping as long as I want to (which usually isn’t very long), eating breakfast in the morning sunlight, wearing my pajamas all day and being lazy and spending the whole day reading books/watching series.
41: What’s the last book you remember really, really loving? The Kite Runner, which I didn’t finish because it hurt too much. One night in particular I couldn’t sleep because I just wondered how so much pain could be possible…
87: What are some movies you think everyone should watch at least once in their lives? The Last Unicorn! Little Miss Sunshine. There are a lot of good films on racism but I’m not really in any position to be recommending any of those, I think. (There are far more reliable sources than me.)

A few months ago, we shared the story behind our collaboration with Indaba Music in reinterpreting the Olafur Arnald's track, Only the Winds. Here is the first draft of the lyrics we wrote for that. The final version does not have the prolog. Do sing along with the song. Prolog: Discover the world through innocence in his eyes Leap forward in faith because its the leaves that are the point of wonder as the canoe gushes forward in the river its his laughter that makes the water dance The world is his playground the creations at his mercy and Us ? we rejoice to his every call Lyrics: blushing in the meadows as the angel calls reeling through the shadows as the lights control don't be alone child the wings break your fall blushing in the meadows as the angel calls reeling through the shadows as the lights control don't look below child your heading to my arms Sign up below to our weekly blog updates and receive useful tips, and insider stories directly to your inbox for FREE: *Email Address Website
