{ Actually... Imma drop in on my main acct for a little bit. I’ve been itching to get back into FFXIV and while I haven’t found the drive to do it yet, I do have a FFXIV sideblog I want to work on a little bit more!

{ If any other FFXIV fans/roleplayers are interested, the blog is @shinigxmicrew-ffxiv! It is a roleplaying blog! I just haven’t gotten around to...figuring out how to do that, while still being overhyped about playing an MMO for the first time... LOL. (But I do know most spoilers bc I really love this game and cannot help my curiosity. Pls don’t be mad at me...!!)

I promised FFXIV Ammy...and so I goofed with one thanks to Benchmark! (Would’ve made her in game, but...I play with controller and didn’t feel like trying keyboard style today, LOL.)

Miqo’te style for in-game, but art will def have her looking more...wolfish. Also, the one time I entertain the white hair and gold eyes! Since she’s a Seeker, I did want to show off her slit pupils...and why not hammer the association home further with the white hair? Black streaks? (Add in the Summoner’s Gear and she’s just. [muah] Lovely~!)

...Talk about a fitting connection for the in-game lore, though. Solar connections, indeed.

Clarification on Amaterasu, The Origin Wolf God (AKA Brand New Animal AU)

Idea so far is that she could potentially be Shiro’s mom? Considering he is very likely Ginrou the Silver Wolf... Well. As they say... Silver and gold.

Kinda considered an ancient deity by the beastmen. Like, “pretty sure this is just a made-up legend” sort of deity. Ginrou has a better hold on her old image and is easier believed in the present day, due to her encouraging him to take up her old mantle.

Much in the way Chibiterasu learns how to take on her mantle in OkamiDen.

Present day has her finally returning due to rumors; the first time Shiro has seen her in a long, long while. Michiru, on the other hand, has no idea what’s going on.

Still has her brush powers, but they come off more as “gestured commands that mean something to the world around them” rather than a literal brush being used. For example, the sweeping gesture of her arm will send out winds that match the strength/speed used (as if wielding a fan) OR causing water to splash at someone with a gesture starting at the water, to their face. (As if she’d splashed them without having to touch the water.)

Still glows at night if her power isn’t contained. This takes great focus...but what can’t be stopped is her heater-like warmth.

Her full-powered markings are only for the most dire of situations. Even naturally, her form presents as a white wolf, like Shiro. First level shows off her markings and her fur becomes fluffier, taking on the fluffy, cloud-like quality it does in Okami. (Complete with the wing-tufts, should her arms be bare.)

Tail is forever tipped black, though. It’s the only hint to her being more than she appears...aside from her name, perhaps.

As motherly as ever, if occasionally overbearingly so. (Shiro, especially, has quite enough of her motherly ways very fast. Regardless if you see them being related or not.)
