What it’s like having a Scorpio/8H moon; how to lean into it w/o drowning..& learning ‘How to Shoot’ when ur astrologically gifted a a 12 gauge..

My observations & personal experience..

So… what makes Scorpio moon THE most scorpionic placement one can have? why is it SO difficult as opposed to other scorpio placements?

The boring answer would be “because the moon is in fall it doesn’t like scorpio (kinda true) so it’s ALWAYS gonna be HARD & it’s a ‘bad sign’ cause u just always suffer & blah blah blah! so yeah, ye screwed, anyway; that’ll be 100$!!” 💀😩

as much as I would love to drop kick every MF who told a paying customer this/ or anyone lookin for insight on their chart… i’m going to reserve my energy to point out that… EVERY placement SERVES a purpose..

and JUST like How having ‘all good planets/ all signs in rulership’ can create the laziest MF w/ no depth on the planet..(cause, who appreciates something when everything is SOO easy?! how does one build character)

Scorpio Moon.. while difficult.. is w/o question a massive gift of a placement … specially when u stop trying to approach it /box it in/ compare it to other planets/ energies ..

if u only had experience w/handguns.. all u shot.. all u knew..…but got a sawed off shotgun… would u determine it ‘weak’ /un useful.. all cause U didn’t know how to handle it?! would u get the most out of it if u TRIED/were hell bent on handling it LIKE u would a handgun??

fk no… yet… it’s what a lot of ppl do with astrology/ transitionally “tough” placements..

Your ‘gun’ isn’t weak/useless..

You JUST need to shift/ align ur expectations w/ the energies.. learn how it works.. basically, you need to learn / re-learn how to shoot…

Moon , Is HOW we come into the world..our emotional knowledge/ our inner world..

it is the phsycial & emotional womb that we emerge from.. the 1st waters we swam in , the amniotic fluids that gave us life.. encoded in our DNA.. it’s who you are to ur core.

If the Sun is where ur suppose to end up/ evolve to in ur journey/ point B.. Moon would be ur point A. it’s HOW u come in as.. where u start from.

Scorpio isn’t just water… It’s FIXED water.. a DEEP well that also echos/carries the swells of the ocean.. It’s everything hidden below the surface.. Tucked down… restrained.. because, they’ve been taught to fear what happens in yhe deep, in the dark..

So much so… Few want to even deep sea dive in their own subconscious..

they may not even be sure why.. or when they started to feel that way… but it’s as if the soul remembers watching someone seal that well shut while telling them “DONT GO IN THERE! whatever u do!”

like episode 1 of TWD, when in the hospital, Rick sees the door written “Don’t open/ Dead inside”

that is precisely the vibe I get..

While I wouldn’t outright call it a death fetish… there is a magnetic pull to taboo, & death in itself..

If there’s anything scorpio moon loves.. it’s staying hidden to ‘collect’ all the information it can..All the data..but discretely … quietly.. w/o giving themselves up.. The last thing any scorpio moon wants to do, is put themselves out there.. Take risk w/love/trust.. letting someone in (including themselves) they don’t wanna Put there ‘findings’ let alone theirselves out there.. & yet.. this is EXACTLY what ur suppose to do as a SM.. this is the road to ur liberation.

Scorpios Modern ruler Pluto, is all about death rebirth transformation, generational aspects /patterns birth from self preservation/ survival VERY importantly, imbalances of power..

its goal is to TAKE that scorpionic/8H hidden nature & *bring it to the surface* to be cleansed… to be rebirthed.. to use transform.

There is a certain look u get when being a SM… almost like, ppl can ‘sense the dark’ in u.. (mind u.. we ALL have light n shadow.. we all have our deeper parts.. but western society is not at all comfortable w/the topic of death.. let alone the shadow.. Ppl don’t wanna acknowledge it, it’s literal OR metaphysical/ metaphorical themes…until it happens to them/someone they loved.. then it’s almost like we’re conditioned to ‘mourn as quietly, quickly & quaintly as possible…

and then HERE comes Scorpio/8H moon blowing EVERYTHING out of the water..

the kicker?? U don’t even have to say a word.. your presence; is enough.. Ppl look at u & Instinctively know… ‘there’s more than we feel comfortable acknowledging as a society’ …. & not just about u… about themselves… (which when ppl have VERY strong reactions to u…) this is why..

you are, quite literally, a catalyst.. for better. or worse.. you’re the elephant in the room… the scent of a lover they can’t shake outta their sheets..

U cling to their uncertainty, shape their fear to every thought they tried to ignore…& this.. makes some ppl down right furious.. their reactions almost instantaneous .. & while they’ll swear up & down it’s YOU... it’s more than that.... ur a mirror..a vessel.. a representation of the things they cannot/ refuse to see in their self.

everyone speaks of the lower aspects of scorpio or pluto.. but rarely what happens in the higher octave (everything is duality, remember )

so lower octaves/expressions will be ‘obsession, possession..limerence, stalking (online or in person) drawing stalkers/ obsessive types, abuses of power (specially Pluto aspects)

HIGHER octaves tho… have almost a spiritual theme to them… a recognition as much as rebirth.… they are all about finding those ‘ppl’ / groups/ relationships (romantic or platonic) they can ‘deeply merge’ with.. It’s about creating ur own emotional safety net.

Scorpio moons are use to being the rock for everyone else.. but have a deep fear of opening up about themselves.. (which, considering all the BS they attract… can u blame them?!)

This is because, Scorpio remembers the betrayal.. the exile... it brings a lot of fears of abandonment.. & it sees the shadows u don’t want to acknowledge in ur self.. & somewhere deep down.. they understand enough to know.. that which u refuse to acknowledge; will be projected onto them..

A lot of scorpio/8H moons 1st memories will be of their mother’s feelings instead of their own.. rarely their own.. (regardless if they’re male or female)

theres a level of emeshment here… (again, remember, Scorpio WANTS to merge.. that’s what it covets.. it doesn’t have to be romantic) they instinctively become their mothers emotional caretaker… because IF they’re merged (all babies & mothers are, I think it’s around six months that a baby starts to understand that they’re separate from their Mother(that’s not even astrology related) that’s that pure science, LOL..... (but it makes them instinctively put their own emotions on the back burner)…That starts to bleed out/ over into their friendships/ relationships.. always the shoulder to cry on.. but never finding ‘their own safe space/ shoulder’.

it’s your defense mechanism… and again if you don’t have a secure stable place/ environment to explore your own well… it becomes almost too easy to lean into that 8H, nature & “shove them down’

We become drawn/ almost compelled to things of a Taboo nature, dark.. death… almost subconsciously dipping our toe in the water to hopefully one day navigate our own shame or at the very least… become acquainted w/ the transition a figurative ‘death’ brings..

If there is one thing that Scorpio understands on some level… it’s that “ change is inevitable/ nothing lasts forever”… & rather than running from the inevitable.. (i.e. death hurt trauma pain in itself) it’s learning how to grow with the seasons… how to honor your seasons so that you may best thrive in them..

it’s easy for a scorpio moon/ someone w/ heavy plutonian placements to feel like their being punished.. They keep experiencing the SAME situations, the same person, different face, different name, same themes/ issues..

this is the universe presenting u w/an opportunity to demonstrate 1) how much you’ve changed & 2) to evolve from the bounds/ shame that shackled u.. (alotta times, self imposed constraints..) Fear that no longer serves u.. fear that only feeds those that want to keep u imprisoned .. Controlled. Fear makes anyone easy to control.

Pluto/ Scorpio placements.. are here to liberate u from those self imposed shackles..

when U do this… when u stop relying on old patterns.. somethign strange/ beautiful happens.. like, a harmonic shift/ alignment..U start attracting those w/this placement but… the higher vibration/frequency of it..

U start to find ur soul group… ur sacred space.. Ppl thT “get it”.. that were not all just “one size fits all” that we as humans.. are complex creatures.. that emotions are complex.. that life is full of nuance & niches… where u can experience & express these DEEP deep complex feelings/ emotions.. but this time.. w/o th guilt… w/o the shame..& with ppl who have done their own ‘deep sea/soul diving’

you allow urself to experience ur feelings deeply..not as someone bound by shame or a loss of control… but a student.. ready to learn, ready to molt what no longer serves u.. U find hobbies that allow u to express those things u thought had to be boarded up.. (safetly ofc)

U unseal that well..& instead of ‘fearing the deep’… (liek the ocean.. what we fear most, isn’t the ocean floor…its the unknown)

u start to Realize how the haphazardness of the storm, nourishes the beauty of spring..that symbiotic relationship between light & dark.. ying & yang.. one feeds the other..

yes, some trees.. get uprooted.. come to find out.. they’ve been dead/ hollowed for quite sometime.. what seemed like a living thing.. was really just a decayed shell.. & while the winds tore away what no longer served u & leveled ur fields.. you noticed, not only did it grow back..

it grew back 10xs stronger… fuller… & for once.. she was able to bloom. (If ur old enough to remember hurricane Andrew/FL Local) or experienced another severe hurricane.. you’ll know what I mean when I say.. what comes back, comes back 10xs stronger.. it’s the beauty that comes from the destruction..

the phoenix who rises from the ashes

The journey of the rising phoenix..not to sound cliche.. but THAT is the epitome of being a Scorpio moon.... It’s not aimless chaos.. it’s a front row seat to see what aspects of you NEED to be destroyed/no longer serve you… what old outdated beliefs of self are keeping u shackled?!.. preconceived ideas of urself built out of limitation? fear? & how to transmute those experiences into someone who wants… feels safe coming out of that well. Understanding that death, rebirth is a vital part of NOT just ur life, existence.. but, your liberation…

it’s not death & rebirth to ‘suffer’

it’s a figurative ‘death’ of ur old ideals/ ‘slaughtering’ self limiting beliefs ..to create a world /Human experience in WHICH u thrive in!

(why do I keep thinking visually of someone leveling themselves up im a video game..?!)like.. in D&D..(no I’m not lucky enough to say I’ve played , I only recently learned how it works & Im fascinated ) but it’s EXACTLY what comes to mind when u give urself certain stats BUT NOW…

instead of just giving urself ‘whatever sounds nice’… what u THINK ur character needs to win/thrive..

NOW, u have SEVERAL ROUNDS/ SEVERAL GAMES under ur belt… YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE.. U KNOW what works in the game & what doesn’t… youve gotten to see 1) whT u think u want.. vs 2) how that plays out/ the perspective it brings.. leading u to what u actually want/ what works & just as important; you’ve learned from others errors/ & experiences!!

Again..ur not ‘being punished’ …. ur being given opportunities.. check points… chances as reconstruction..a chance../tools to scrap & rebuild.. deconstructed of what no longer serves u..& taking what knowledge you’ve gained thru these trials, turbulations.. experiences..& using them to build a new foundation..to reconstruct a soul that’s not forged from fear....

Its not being ‘sentenced to a life of misery’..

ur getting a chance half way thru to repaint the mona lisa..

an existence u can thrive on… one that wasn’t built out of survival.. or ‘bad times’ ..fear/ generational patterns /self preservation.… but to evolve out of strength … to build a highway that’s gonna get u to ur Final destination (The sun)…

imagine getting to scrap a project that isn’t working Mid way/ but being able to take everything that worked about it; & everything that DIDNT work.. put THAT towards a viable solution..

yeaaaaaah; rebirth don’t sound too bad now HUH cocksucka?!

(that was a term of endearment; Cancer moons are called Looney for a reason.. & it’s 8H so yk i’m the right amount of twisted???)

but.. truly.. to have a capacity/ pension towards rebirth… it’s quite the gift.. you’ve just got to learn the tempo to master the dance…

Hard to believe but.. Survival.. doesn’t have to mean ‘white knuckled’.. the tale of Survival, can be told with a smile.
