“You woke up screaming. I figured breakfast in bed was in order.” (Eric and Theo)
Theoderich felt his face go hot and groaned, sitting up from his slump in his bed. He was covered in a cold sweat.
“If you made it already, then...” He scooted over the bed to make room, patting the side of his bed. “Hey, I.... Sorry for waking you.” He took the tray from them while they sat down, situating themselves.
He couldn’t remember most of his dream, most of the details already faded after staying awake to stare at the ceiling for the better part of an hour by the time Eric came in. He remembered being scared for his friends lives, and he remembered sounds and images he wishes he could forget, his memories melding with the dream just enough to make his stomach churn and clench.
He leaned his head over on Eric’s shoulder, closing his eyes and feeling settled with them next to him.
“Thanks.”
