Open Mic was Madness!

Bar sales were through the roof, and a great lineup of local musicians kept people in their seats. Andrew helped me out during the night, so I was able to focus on sound for the musicians and keeping thirsty people happy. I’m excited to see how open mic adapts with the impending cold season. I imagine people will enjoy the cozy, living room-feel of Hostel Fish, and decide to make it a regular event to come grab a hot toddy or Irish coffee and hear great tunes. Also, my friend David and I are looking to start playing music around the hostel on my nights off, so stay tuned. (Pun intended.)

Thanks to all of the awesome musicians who came out to play, and thanks to all who hung around to listen. Hostel Fish is a truly unique space for an open mic, and there are big plans for the future.
