Had my first final exam today:

Organic Spectroscopy.

Surprisingly I thought I did pretty well. I need a C- to pass, and I figured I got at least a C to a C+; possibly a B.

This is the most prepared I’ve felt for a Chemistry final exam, in a long time. I was able to answer every question, and I think for the most part I knew what I was doing.

The test was more long and tiring to write than difficult. It was worth 100 marks, and was 16 pages long. So many molecules; so much spectra to analyze. o.o

I hope I did well enough to pass, anyways.

My Organic Spectroscopy exam (on NMR and IR) is in half an hour. I'm really stressed out. I need to do well on this test.

I got 100% on my assignment in my Organic (chemistry) spectroscopy class

We had to summarize a scientifically published journal article about a mass spectrometry method, and I got 10/10.

Its been a long time since I’ve gotten a perfect score on anything, let alone something key to my major, so I’m pretty happy. These assignments I think are worth 25-30% of the total grade, so this is a good sign that I’m going to be doing better this term. :)
