Not to be #bfb critical but Woody and Teardrop are characters that I just can't help but see them as completely ableist. As a non-verbal autistic person the way Teardrop gets treated (especially in bfb 1 WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT) is just kinda oof.
I don’t really think they were created with the intention to insult, but it is rather rude to treat them harshly for things that they cannot help, and I definitely see your point anon :/ Teardrop and Woody are both really sweet characters that have their own personality outside of what they’re made fun of. Woody has a lot of anxiety but he’s also very sweet and hard-working. Teardrop is made fun of for not being able to talk but she’s very determined and even quite sassy when she wants to be. They’re both really good characters, which is why when people write them off as being “unable to take” or “overly worried” that makes me (baseboosted) :////
I think the writers are starting to branch off with their characters more, and as far as I’m aware, they haven’t had a joke about Teardrop and Woody for a while. I can see your point, Anon, but I’m glad they’re getting better!
