Incredibly fucked up and evil that "oshian" as an identity label got the reaction that it did from white queers several years back. It was coined as an exclusive sapphic identity for Black nblw/wlw people in response to the repeated white-washing of sapphism, only to be scrutinized for being "too exclusive" to nb people. First accuse the community of being too exclusive, and if that doesn't work, start appropriating their terminology anyway like what's been happening for decades with "stud."

hey ik this is really random but i really like making playlists & ages ago, i wanted to make a sapphic playlist with mostly artists of color bc i was so sick of seeing the same white girls over & over + was tired of the indie-type cottagecore shit.

and i finally did it. there's r&b, jersey club, electropop, afrofusion, the works. ik it's weird to care this much ab a playlist but I'd appreciate if y'all would check it out/share if u can bc i want this to reach as many sapphics/queer ppl as possible esp. queer ppl of color bc it's so hard for us to feel seen sometimes. so yeah. here it is.

A very quickly made higher quality oshian [link] flag, as the only ones I could find were incredibly low quality and looked like they had been uploaded and downloaded around 50 times.
