when i first read over the threshold, i did not do art. i was bored and lonely and uninspired. but this story ignited something in me; over the threshold was the spark that started the fire that has been my art journey.

this scene from chapter 3 stayed with me long after i read it. it was one of those scenes that i could see so clearly in my mind, i had to do something about it.

so this piece was my love letter to this deeply inspiring story, but also to glo. i didn’t know back then how much you’d change my life ♥️

Producer Suguru from Over the Threshold

With the imminent release of chapter 14 of Over the Threshold (EDIT: out now!!), I have a small offering of my own :3

This is both inspired by and a gift for @fushiglow , who sent me a photo of DPR ARTIC and said “this could be straight out of over the threshold”. And of course, I heard them.

This one is very special to me; I poured all the love I have for this character and this story into this piece. I hope it shows.

It’s also special due to the precious time spent co-working with glo, hyping each other up, inspiring each other, and going through a various range of emotions (mostly screaming/crying/throwing up, tbh). My dearest friend, this is for you. This is your Suguru ♥️
