Picture this: Zosan who has been dating for months now. and Sanj who believed it would only takes them weeks to have sex.
He didn't want to rush of course, he knew these things took time, and he thought Zoro was also waiting for the right time, just like him, but weeks turned into months and the swordman ignored every signals the cook sent his way. If he catched them at least. He tried everything he had in mind, seductively licking his lips during eyes contacts when Zoro trained, bending over without benging his knees when he needed to pick up something of the floor, putting his cigarette in his mouth in a suggestive way, damn it, he even wore a whole apro with "Fuck the cook" written on it. And nothing, not even a smirk, not even a joke. He wanted him so bad, but it was like the swordman didn't care.
Sanji didn't want to force him or make him feel pressured about doing it. So he chose to talk about it like a grown adult would. One night, when the swordman is on watch (or asleep in the crewnest), he joins him, wearing no t-shirt (he started sleeping shirtless in hope to get laid, but it just became a habit overtime), and directly sit on the moss, who was sleeping agaisnt the wall.
Sanji: Look at who's talking...
Sanji: You never find your- Anyway. We need to talk.
Zoro, opening his eye: About what?
Sanji: I want us to sleep together.
Zoro: Don't we do that every night?
Sanji: I mean, I want us to have sex, mosshead.
A little blush creeps onto the cook's cheek's and the swordman look deep into his eyes, his expression...Confused?
Zoro: Yeah. I don't get it?
Sanji: Well, that's something most couples do, no? We love each others and we'll be each others firsts so why not?
Zoro: We're not married. Yet.
Zoro: You heard me just fine.
Sanji, raising an eyebrow: And since when are you this romantic, Marimo?
Zoro: Meh, to me that's common sense.
Sanji didn't answer to that. He just laid down instead, his head resting on Zoro's chest, strangly content.
Zoro: We'll get married in the All Blue.
The cook lift up his face, only to find the swordman avoiding his gaze, some red creepling on his cheeks.
Sanji, with a smirk: You already thought this through, didn't you?
Zoro: Shut up. Blue balls.
Sanji: So you're ashamed now, grass-face?
Then started a long night of bickering.
Sanji didn't feel as frustrated as before after this conversation. He stopped trying to lure Zoro into his bed, instead coming back to appreciating the intimacy in the moments they share before they become tainted with lust. He catches himself thinking about that wedding more than not, once he'll achieve his dream of finding the All Blue...
