I just got a taste of what "typical" American high school life is like and.. it really seems to suck. like you're telling me that you chose to go the football game despite not wanting to be there and not having fun?? Like what about that is enjoyable?

Also like party culture is crazy. People actually get drunk? I thought that was like just something that happened in books. One girl was saying that someone was trying to convince her to go and she didn't because she didn't wanna get hazed. WHY DO PEOPLE DO THIS???

Been a couple of cases of mumps at our college

Student: the college should be shut down to stop it spreading

Teacher: why? You don't die from mumps

Student: yeah but you could spread to your friends and family and if boys get it they become infertile, college should be doing more to stop it

Teacher: it's just natural selection
