Accidents || Jesse and Ada
Loud house music thumps through the house. Filled with the distinct smell of smoke, writhing bodies that grind against each other to the beats of the music, and the drunken slurs that mark the beginning of a wild party, Jesse stands quietly by in the corner of one of the rooms. People pass him by, and he only gives them dark stares through the low lights of the house that has been utterly transformed to accommodate for a party.
The only reason why Jesse was even there was because he had been requested to dump pounds of dope at the place. He had done what he was asked to do, and had no real reason to stay. Payment in cash was stashed in his bag, along with random messes of dope. And something else. Even Jesse wasn't sure what it was or what it did. They were white round pills in a plastic bag that could have easily been painkillers or some kind of narcotic, but Jesse doubted that's what they actually were.
His supplier had insisted on giving Jesse a few "samples" to try handing out. Of course, he had vehemently refused, but he could hardly even take a step away without being pestered. Finally, he had just given up and took a small bag of the mysterious pills. He knows that he probably would have never gotten away if he hadn't, but he has absolutely no intentions of trying to sell something that even he doesn't know about. He has it in his right mind to just dump them in some obscure place where no one would find it, but for now, he figures that if he can squeeze some fifties from random party goers for anything else, he'll take it. Which is why he's standing there silently, allowing any soul brave enough to talk to him have a deal go through.
Jesse hears the drunken voice of someone that he knows all too well about a good hour in to the party. He's just finished dealing some small amounts of coke, and he lazily turns his head in the direction of the voice. It's Ada, of course, and he's not all that surprised to see her there. He simply stands and watches from the corner and makes no movement to go out to her immediately, wondering just what she'll do.
